This lovely farmhouse was beautifully restored, immaculately clean, and perfect for the three of us adults on a little tour of gardens near Kennett Square. Downtown is give minutes away with a variety of eating out choices. Our host was responsive enough to and professional. I would definitely stay here again. Were I to get married again, that barn would be a great venue.
The house has been beautifully remodeled inside, with such attention to detail. It’s modern yet very comfortable and no detail has been overlooked. There is a bedroom on the third floor that’s like a suite. Private and quiet, be sure to claim that as yours. The house was immaculate. We will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.
We very much appreciated this beautiful home on a unique property. The barn was lovely, and the proximity to Longwood Gardens was key. Thanks very much for a great stay.
The house was adorable in a quiet neighborhood just outside Kennett Square. We stayed for a lacrosse tournament and we were only 5 min from the fields and 5 minutes from many dining options. The house was well stocked with what we needed to cook while we stayed and the rooms were comfortable. We had two families and had plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again!
Lovely historic farmhouse in the heart of Chester County - so very clean, convenient, and our family had plenty of room. Kitchen stocked with waters, coffee and snacks which was a really nice touch. Will definitely re-book this place text time we are in the area! A
The house had wonderful amenities, was in a beautiful neighborhood, and felt relaxed and luxurious. The laundry facilities were greatly appreciated. After a long day of traveling and sightseeing, this was the perfect out-of-the-way place to relax and regroup for the next day.
All positive. We were very comfortable. The space and rooms are larger than it appears in photos. It was great to have a washer and dryer. We were very close to Kennett Square downtown which we love.
Everyone in our group of 7 adults was very happy with the accommodations. Rooms were larger than expected and the house is well-equipped with all that we could need. Bedrooms are also quiet and we never heard anyone once we closed our door. A perfect choice for a family visit near Kennett Square.
Two night stay with included Longwood Gardens visit
A lovely updated small farmhouse with all needed amenities for 7 adult women. We were very comfortable in the beds, making use of the third floor. We were able to comfortably set the temperature when the April weather turned cold. Longwood was easily accessible as well as a short drive to downtown area of Kennett Square. Would recommend this property.
A beautifully restored and updated farmhouse. Many modern amenities. Bonus space in the barn is amazing. Kennett Square town shops & cafes offer fun and sometime surprising browsing. Main feature for us was easy access to Longwood Gardens.
I lived in the area 15 years ago and returned home to see family in Wilmington. This place was worth the extra 10-15 minutes' drive compared to what we found in Northern Delaware. All of the previous reviews were spot on. Close to everything, but still very private. As a DIY'er, I fell in love with all of the detail in the home with all its charm bringing back fond memories. We visit at least once a year in the summer and this will be our go-to spot from now on. Thank you for a great experience.
The house was close to perfect. There were a few things we felt needed improvement. The open animal door to the basement was a concern since we didn’t have a clue what’s in the basement. The one bed room didn’t have a warm comforter and last there was hair cat hair on the floors in the kitchen. The house was beautiful and tastefully done. The barn is relaxing and beautiful. We do did have a great time.
