What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed here while my husband had surgery at Duke. It was less than 3 miles away from the hospital. Very convenient. It was very clean, stocked wonderfully, and everything we needed. The communication was fast and easy with the owners. I would stay here again
The place was perfect for the 3 of us! It was in a great location (very close to where we needed to be) and the host was excellent with communication. We will be back next year!
Really great central location walkable to much of downtown. Very clean and well run. It is very loud due to being an old building so do with that what you want. My wife and I didn’t sleep great as we kept getting woken up anytime someone walk around upstairs.
Within walking distance to all downtown attractions-DPAC, Carolina Theater, museums, shops and restaurants. Great amenities including gym and two beautiful pools. Unit was very comfortable and had a very functional kitchen, two full size bathrooms and two bedrooms.
Loved the cozy beds and the nice stocked bathrooms! I love that you have to have a code or a key to come onto the premises. This makes me feel so much safer!
Very convenient location for performances at DPAC. 3 light bulbs did not work including neither of the overhead kitchen lights. We reported it when we checked in, however, it was not fixed before we checked out. We only stayed two nights so I guess that’s kind of understandable. Overall a very pleasant stay.
The instructions were very clear and thorough. We arrived late in the night but it was no problem. The apartment was ready for us. We woke up and enjoyed coffee out on the covered porch. It is a great location with lots to do within easy walking distance.
The only major thing that we didn't care for was the extremely late check in requirements or having to pay for early entry. 5pm is very late especially when check out is 11am. If you want to spend any real time in the residence you can't do so without staying for more than one day. So basically we paid to sleep there which can be done at a hotel but we wanted the homey feel. I would make a note on the listing as well that this is an old building and to expect to hear noises, neighbors etc. Thin walls, open ceilings/walls to bedrooms and common areas. Loved the outside patio area. Overall the place was very cool and in a fantastic location.
The location of the property to downtown is awesome. It is a short walk to some of Durham’s best restaurants and bars. The property was easy in and out and parking was not a problem at all. The only negative I would say was that the neighbor above was rather heavy footed and loud. Otherwise you really didn’t hear anything. I would recommend this property.
The loft was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had to get used to being very quiet in the bedrooms because the walls don't completely enclose the room. It was in the description and it really adds to the spacious feeling. The location is great- a 10 minute walk to downtown Durham with many restaurants, shops, and sites to see.

A disappointment overall. Poorly maintained, poorly managed. Would not stay in this apartment, this building, or use this management company again.
