Walk to Duke Campus! 3 Bedroom in Trinity Park!

Located on one of the most desirable streets in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Durham, this listing is for the recently renovated downstairs 3 bedroom apartment.

There are three units in this building, all of which we rent on Airbnb.

Walk to Duke Campus, Whole Foods and downtown restaurants.

Original hardwood floors, new shaker kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, an in-unit washer/dryer, off street parking for two cars (in tandem), and spacious living room.

While we are not likely to be onsite to welcome you or during your stay, we are easily accessible and timely in responding via the booking platform website/apps between 6am to 9pm EST. We can also be reached via text message or phone call in the event of an emergency. Our phone number will be provided prior to check in.

This property is located in the Trinity Park neighborhood with tree lined streets and large homes just off of Duke's east campus. The property is walking distance to Duke Campus, downtown, a local playground, Whole Foods, and a variety of other restaurants.

Please be courteous and quiet as this is a family friendly neighborhood.

This rental is the entire downstairs (Unit A) of a large triplex building.

During the week, please park behind the building in the parking area accessed via the alleyway. You will see an area marked for Unit A and there you can pull up to two cars in (one behind another).
At night and on weekends, you can also park in front of the home on Minerva Avenue. If parking behind the home, simply walk down the side of the house until you find the FRONT steps, walk up the porch to access via the front door.

**If parking in front of the house, please be sure to follow all marked parking signs so you are not ticketed while school is in session.

The door uses the August Home smart lock and can be accessed by sending us your cellphone information prior to check in. Once you provide your cellphone and we add your number, you will receive a text message with additional instructions on how to download the app. Upon arrival to the front door, simply open the August Home app and press the circle to unlock the front door (the phone will sense the door lock via Bluetooth). We will also send you a unique pin pad code either as a backup or for primary use if you prefer not to download the door lock app.

In the event that technology fails, we have a backup lockbox hidden on site for emergency access.

This rental is the entire downstairs (Unit A) of a large triplex building and accessed via a private entrance up the front porch. The entire space is yours and no interior spaces are shared. There are two other upstairs 1 bedroom apartments that we also rent as short term/mid term rentals.

Once inside, the property opens to a living room with a couch and two chairs, coffee table and smart tv where you can access your streaming services. The living room also contains a large table with bench seating for meals and also a small office desk and chair to use as a work station. Off one side of the living room is the first of three bedrooms featuring a comfortable king sized bed.

Briefly continuing down a hallway off of the opposite side of the living room is a half bath, the second bedroom (queen bed) and the opening to the kitchen. Inside the kitchen you will find barstool seating at a breakfast bar, new stainless steel appliances and basic pots, pans, cutlery, etc.

The full bath (tub/shower combo) and laundry machines are located off of the kitchen as is the final third bedroom.

The bedrooms have closet space and privacy blackout curtains for a comfortable night's sleep.

Parking is behind the building, accessed via an alleyway. You can park up to two cars in tandem (one behind the other) in the designated area for Apartment A. If parking on the street in front of the property, please follow all posted signs as a special permit is required.

The neighborhood is very walkable and bike able.

You can check the Durham transportation website for the local bus route and other transportation options.

To ensure transparency and clear expectations up front, please note the following for all of our properties:

- We are pet friendly BUT all of our guests do not have pets or appreciate pet hair. Therefore, we charge an extra $51.50 pet cleaning fee that is passed on entirely to our cleaning crew. This ensures that they spend the extra time removing any pet hair from linens and towels, spend extra time cleaning baseboard trim, wiping fan blades, cleaning HVAC filters, etc. If you do not select "Add Pet" when booking and you stay with a pet, the $51.50 cleaning fee will be requested from you at checkout. Please select Add Pet in your initial booking to avoid this interaction.

- We absolutely prohibit any and all smoking and drug use at our properties. This behavior makes it extremely difficult to turnover the unit for a new guest likely arriving the same day of your departure. If we find that you have smoked in our property, there will be an extra $200 cleaning fee, you will receive a negative review, and you will not be able to book at our properties in the future. This is a non-negotiable. Do not book if you plan to smoke.

- No parties allowed or loud music after 8pm. Many of our properties are connected duplexes and out of courtesy for neighbors, we ask that there be no gatherings or loud music or unauthorized guests not listed on the reservation. If family or friends are stopping by, please kindly let us know ahead of time .

The sunroom converted to sleeping space was too cold to use (obviously not on the HVAC system., Luckily, we only needed two bedrooms. Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms and the large updated kitchen was a huge plus. Only negative was that the place lacked any character or design and had a lack of furniture, specifically in bedrooms.

Suited our needs

This property was clean and had all the essentials. It was a little Spartan in decor, but that helped us make sure we didn’t leave any of our possessions behind upon check-out. Check-out was easy, and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing while still being close to everything we wanted, including an awesome coffee shop less than a half-mile away.The first two entry options didn't work for us, but luckily there was a third backup option clearly communicated that we were able to use to enter the property.In addition, our upstairs neighbor was very quiet and considerate, but still we could hear their music and were awakened by their alarm (on vibrate) at 6am, so be aware if you're particularly sensitive to noise while you sleep.Aside from these two things, this property was excellent, and I would stay there again (probably with a white noise generator or earplugs for sleeping).

Safe neighborhood, clean apartment. The pictures in the ad are brighter and more appealing than the actual furniture. Holiday visit

It was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and lots of holiday decorations. We could hear other guests upstairs but it was never too much. Bryan responded quickly to a question I had and a change we made at the end of our stay. Look forward to visiting again in the spring.

Wonderful home and neighborhood

This home was clean and well maintained. It was stocked with extra supplies like laundry soap and toilet paper and soap. The beds were very comfortable! Our family was very comfortable staying here. The neighborhood had parks close by and we were able to walk to restaurants. Great place at a very affordable price!
