Beautiful newly renovated 1bd 1br apartment. 1st floor (Entrance on the side Croskey St.) Location in the up and coming Point Breeze area of Philadelphia. Free street parking. About 10-15 mins from Center City, Sport Complex and Navy Yard. Also 10 mins to Passyunk Ave with lots of great restaurants and the famous Geno's Steaks.
Upstairs apartment is used for Vrbo as well.

Very clean and comfortable. I have stayed here before and knew to bring my own soap and shampoo. Plenty of street parking before 4pm or 5pm. I really like the nearby restaurant El Mictian.

Our stay was nice. My son and I attended a game in Philly. The apartment was very clean. Maybe just a little more seating. The owner was super helpful!! My phone broke on my flight in and we had to contact VRBO customer service and they were able to get us touch with our host quick. He was very helpful and quick to let us know if we had any issues feel free to reach out. Nice little apartment for a few day stay. Thank you for everything!

I loved the place and the location. However, they gave us 3 tiny towels. Nothing on the floor to stand on. It was a nice place and a wonderful bargain, but I need a real towel next time.

The apartment was clean with a remodeled bathroom and newer appliances. The location was great for me as it was located about a block away from two main bus lines that allowed for easy access to all the major tourist attractions and ballpark. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe with plenty of food options within about a 5 minute walk. I didn’t have any issues, but Clinton’s communication before and after my stay was great. I would definitely stay in his place again.

Overall Good

The pictures are accurate to what you get in the actual unit. There are plates, mugs, cookware etc. if you want to bring food back to cook. Everything was clean, and things like a few towels and washcloths were provided. The AC works great, even during a heatwave.Some reviews mentioned a neighbor to the unit blasting music, and this does happen. 2 of the 4 nights we stayed it would start in the late evening, and go until around 12-12:30am. It was not a deal breaker for us, but if you're a light sleeper, or have a schedule that includes waking up early, you might want to avoid (or invest in good ear plugs). If you're in the living area it's insanely loud, but in the bedroom it's slightly quieter.The location was further south from the Downtown area than the listing on Vrbo made it look like. But I think this is a Vrbo thing and not a fault of the person listing it. It made the difference between being able to walk or driving to the things we were there for. Parking can be tricky in the evenings, but definitely not impossible. We were able to find a space no more than a street over from the property consistently. The neighborhood was generally quiet while we were there. Nothing more than hearing people going about their lives.

Das Haus liegt nah bei einer Bushaltestelle und man ist in ca 20 Minuten Downtown. Das Apartment ist gut eingerichtet, leider fehlen in der Küche Basics wie Salz und Pfeffer, Filter für die Kaffeemaschine... Die ersten 2 Nächte waren sehr ruhig, allerdings sind dann in die obere Wohnung Gäste eingezogen, die einfach nur laut waren und bis spät in die Nacht/ frühen Morgen Musik aufgedreht haben. Der Vermieter wollte nach der 1. Nacht auf die Nachtruhe hinweisen, allerdings hat es die Gäste offenbar nur noch mehr angestachelt und sie waren in der 2. Nach noch lauter. Wir hatten ein Problem mit einer Lampe , darum wurde sich sofort gekümmert das war super. Auf Grund der schlechten Schalldämmung gibt's nur 4 Sterne.

Amazing experience with host, apartment is clean but needs sound proofing

We stayed 3 nights. First 2 were great but last night there was a loud party upstairs late into the 2 am range. Host responded quickly and came over to shut it down but it restarted. Obviously not the host's fault, but I do think it's worth mentioned, since the lack of sound proofing for the apartment made it a lot worse. The bedroom has a door that opens into the entrance and stairs of the next apartment, which unfortunately made it sound like you're in the same room with strangers. Please fix this by adding sound proofing, because there is a big gap under the door straight to the bedroom, which is an easy fix that could dramatically improve the guests experience.

Clean, affordable place for a visit

The unit was small, but very clean with nice furnishings. The host was easy to communicate with, and it wasn’t hard to find parking. Sound traveled from upstairs, but the neighbors weren’t loud. I would’ve liked some basics in the kitchen like coffee, tea, salt, pepper, but overall it was a great place to stay.

Perfect for my needs in South Philly

This place was extremely clean and had modem appliances. The sofa bed was perfect when my son needed to stay two nights. Parking was easy (and free). There was an awesome Mexican restaurant a couple of blocks away on Snyder — El Mictian. Note that it is BYOB. Also enjoyed Eiffel Seafood and The Sardine Bar several blocks away. The host (Clinton) was very helpful and responded quickly when questions came up. I hope I can stay at Clinton’s place again.

Conference in Philly

Had a good experience overall. Parking was a bit stressful at times with it being tight and sometimes difficult to find a spot on the street. This is also something that comes with city life though! The apartment was close to downtown and to the conference center where we spent most our days. Maybe update the alarm directions to include hitting the checkmark after typing in the code as this was not on the paper above the alarm. Overall was a great stay. Thank you!

Exactly what we needed.

Everything about this property was exactly what we needed for a quick stay in Philly. It was clean. The property manager responded quickly and politely to all of our questions.

Paper-thin walls, no parking, questionable area.

Upstairs neighbor had a party and had music so loud it was like we were there. This lasted until after 11PM. There is no parking at all. There is a door that leads to the upstairs property. That is not safe. The neighbor hood was not talked about in the property review. Not safe at all.

Great location if you are familiar with city living
