at times it does get a bit noisy during the day , but at night it tones down. i stay in this unit and the view is great. hope to see you soon. rick

yes it does sometimes gets loud during the day but in the eve it usually quiets down . and yes. the view is fantastic. . we welcome you back anytime. rick

hola bernice, we are glad to hear you had a lovely time. i tell all my clients that the best weather is from october to march . there is plenty to do in rosarito beach and the surrounding areas. Las Gaviotas is a very special place that not that many people know of . we would like to have you back again soon.

sorry to hear about the incident. the gate guards are usually very flexible unless there was a homeowner there making sure the hoa rules are being enforced. unfortunately many people say friends are "visiting " and never leave ....thus causing overcrowding...10 people in a one bedroom ...so they try to eliminate that . one bad apple spoils the barrel. ....rick

i was trying to be help full with my exact directions to the the condo as google may not have exact directions and i didnt want my visitor to get lost. for some reason google does not register the address . only registers las gaviotas. i did spend some time researching the internet to get my visitor information and directions that will not appear on google maps. parking at las gaviotas , anywhere you rent from in las gaviotas is going to be a challenge due to the zero lot lines , homes being so close together, streets built in the 70's and designed for cars in that era. when you think about it , when you rent at any hotel and are on the 3rd floor, you dont park in front of your door. you have to walk into the hotel , go thru the lobby and go up the elevator. so im not sure why you would expect to park in front of the unit . the noise problem is what all 80 homes on the back row have to deal with . and there are million dollar homes in the back row and we all deal with it . again the design of las gaviotas in the 70's when there was not so much traffic. if you are a future guest who is a very light sleeper i would recommend you pay more and be in the front row. i was in the process of replacing the patio furniture and was waiting for my visitor to leave so as to not to disturb them on their vacation to put the new patio set. i live out of the area and have to make a trek down to las gaviotas and take replacement furniture in small trips. yes you can get more better places to rent at las gaviotas, you can also pay double or triple the reasonable price im charging. there is very few one bedroom units in all las gaviotas. mostly are 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes . i am the owner and i am in the process of making all 4 of my places comfortable for my guests / vistors. i am in the process of installing new flat screen tv with built in dvds, toaster ovens, new dishes, blenders, microwaves, furniture and many other things a little at a time including new umbrellas , patio furniture , chairs , tables etc. i take pride in my places. when they are not rented i stay in the units with my family . so i make notes of things needed and work on upgrading , fixing and replacing items as they are needed. for the reasonable price i charge , i can only do so much on a tight budget. i have had hundreds of guests since 1990 . as i get some complaints i take action to remedy the situation. the security refund is delayed when the visitors do not fill out the refund form asap.
