Point Pleasant was a perfect choice for our stay. Our unit was spotless and one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. While the unit and buildings could do with a bit of updating, everything else was delightful. The location was fantastic, Sun n Sea restaurant was fantastic, and the short walking path to Margaritaville was wonderful to enjoy nightly music. I will definitely stay here again

Thank you for your Great review, we appreciate your feedback, we are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us! We look forward to welcoming you back!
Beautiful room and resort, excellent restaurants and amenities. Beautiful view (lush trees- my preference- with a litter ocean view). If you like privacy, this is it! ♥️
The overall resort where this property is located is really quite nice! Multiple pools, very well kept grounds, and the supporting staff is certainly friendly enough! The wifi was a challenge. It did not work upon arrival and after service from a staff member, it did work but was not very reliable. The router needed to be reset multiple times a day. We had a service issue where we requested towels and linens twice by phone and twice in person and finally did recieve them after being without clean towels for two days. The restaurants at the resort were great! Great food, great drinks, great experience and I would say, authentic to the Island. The room was in a terrific spot! Close to the bottom by the water, pool, and outdoor bar! Loved that! Everything we needed was in the room and we were very appreciative of that! For anyone looking to stay here, I believe you would find the experience well worth the price! If reliable internet is a top concern, you'll need to hash that out with the host as to whether or not that has been addressed. You will have enough bandwidth for emails but don't rely on an ability to take part in online meetings. It is a vacation after all! There isn't a beach on site but you'll find one of the best on the island to be well within walking distance! Overall, we loved our time here!

Awesome customer service with breathtaking views
We arrived St. Thomas Nov. 9th and stayed at Sapphire Village until the 15th. On 15th we had to move and stayed one night at Point Pleasant which is only 5 minutes down the road on route 38. I have to say we would not stay here again. Not because of the unit itself, staff or anything lacking inside the condo accommodations. The condo was lovely, upgraded, clean, modern, beautiful décor and comfortable furnishing, nice balcony furniture, awesome view and large balcony! This unit, the view, kitchen, loved the rock style shower, quality of the bed/mattress, linens, towels, dishes, décor, was actually much nicer then the one we rented at Sapphire Village. Beach was main reason we would not stay here again, and the resort terrain is very rocky, difficult to walk around if you have issues with walking on rocky ruff terrain. There are a lot of beautiful beaches within a ten minute drive near the resort such as Coki or Saphire Village soAll the units are situated in the hillsides of the resort, tucked away and entrances are lead by long, rocky steep steps, or hills. The walkways are not paved, however, it looks pretty! I do not know if someone with young children who may not walk with great balance yet, or seniors, those with physical disabilities or just have challenges with balance and walking could really stay here. The resort advertises as having onsite Sugar beach, however, there is no beach. After you walk through a wooded rocky, trail for about five minutes, you look down and come upon a strip of rocks and sand 15 feet long with three tall Cabanas with a umbrella that are literally in one foot of water. There is no beach to sit to sit on or walk along. We had just left Sapphire Village's Sapphire Beach and were greatly disappointed when we saw this piece of strip they called a beach! The water sports are ok. You go to the restaurant/grill and ask the staff to give you the equipment. My husband decided to paddle boarding. Literally you step into the water at the restaurant steps to go into the water for any water sports. This area of the water is very rocky, and has a lot of sea weed. Restaurant is one of the best parts of the resort. Situated on the water ,great service and beautiful view. We ate breakfast there and enjoyed watching large fish come up to you for food while you eat. The unit E2 is individually owned and the owners keep it in excellent, clean and comfortable condition. We wish we had this unit at Sapphire!
Our stay at Point Pleasant resort was quite disappointing and underwhelming. The room was spacious and clean, however the cabinetry in the kitchen was in very bad shape, the bathroom was dark and outdated, and the balcony furniture was broken and torn upon arrival. The bathroom door was also beaten up and the toilet water slowly turned from purple to a shade of yellow/green which resembled urine. We were also supplied with only 1 roll of toilet paper until we asked for more. The water heater was so small it was located under the sink and the shower only supplied warm water for approximately 3-5 minutes. The hair dryer which was provided to us, caused the breaker to trip every time it was used. There was also a crack on the wall that extended to the ceiling where the finish was peeling off. The room was unbearably humid when we arrived and turned the air conditioning on full blast with 2 fans running to be comfortable enough to sleep. The air conditioning has to be turned back on every 6 hours and the bathroom receives no air conditioning. Also, the front desk and shuttle service do not even respond to calls until 8 am and are unavailable after 6, which was problematic at times. The Shoreline Restaurant located at the hotel had mediocre food and horrible service. The food was bland, our waitress treated us like an inconvenience and forgot half of our order with no attempt to make things right, and even though there were few people in the restaurant the service was slow. My wife and I were extremely disappointed in our stay at this resort, and will make it a point to never return. Also, another couple staying at Point Pleasant also expressed how underwhelmed they were especially after paying the price for the room they received. Another couple we were traveling with stayed at Sapphire Beach Resort, and their room was much more updated and clean for half of the price of our room. If you are reading this, DO NOT STAY AT POINT PLEASANT. The pictures online are not an accurate representation of reality.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We have passed this feedback to the correct channels so that these issues can be resolved. We deeply apologize for the inconveniences. We try to rectify any issues that may arise once it is reported. We will always happily help any guest and supply them with any supplies they may request. Due to high electricity rates on the island., many rentals are installing timers for their air conditioning units. We will also forward this feedback to the restaurant as well. Thank you for bearing with us during these times.

Old and dirty
We didn't expect much, but this was unacceptable. We didn't turn on the fan as it was so dirty. Everything in the kitchen was hanging a little bit, one wouldn't really want to open any cabinet door. We had cockroaches at two occasions, not very pleasant at all . When it was raining water came in under the front door. We checked out early(as soon as we found a better place, after three nights) as we couldn't stay.

Life is Good at Point Pleasant Resort
Great amenities, restaurant, and location. We enjoyed paddle boarding in the clear blue ocean looking at all the sea life. The Shoreline restaurant has delicious food and yummy drinks. Our room was so close to everything too. A quick walk to the beach or the pool. I can't say enough good things about our vacation, and I will be telling everyone to stay at your resort.

Beautiful Beach!
We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back. Everything about Point Pleasant was great, especially the beach, which is a real gem. My only complaint is the restaurant (which I know is privately run). It has such a great location and so much promise but it falls short.

Cute Villa
We had a fantastic time! I would rate our stay a 4 but the staff definitely a 5! Charlie, Aaron, Anthony are the best!
A full length mirror in the room would be very helpful.
But all in all we loved every minute. And we will be back!
