This home was clean and had ample space for our large group, which we appreciated. We also had prompt communication with the hosts during our stay. However, our experience was impacted by a number of maintenance and readiness issues. There were several logistical challenges, including the home still being cleaned when we arrived (after check-in time), nonworking WiFi, an unheated pool, and not enough place settings for a meal for our group of less than 20 people. Additionally some of the listed amenities were limited or unusable, such as the fire pit, pickleball equipment and outdoor yard games.In terms of maintenance there were a number of small things that added up including visible, unfinished wall/door patches, a broken pool deck door handle, flickering lights in the master bath, a noisy shower, and some missing bathroom fixtures, with bathrooms feeling outdated overall.Lastly, there was unexpected on-site activity and several parked vehicles related to other apparent uses of the property, which was not noted in the listing. Our concerns were shared with the hosts after our stay and before posting our review, but we did not hear back from them. While the home was clean and spacious, improved upkeep and clearer communication would have helped create a better experience for us.
