This is a beautiful apartment. Very quiet with privacy from the main house. Nice, clean,modern and well appointed. The owners were very sweet and checked in on us via VRBO messaging. Definitely would come back.

Relaxing getaway

Beautiful place to relax, with a spa and outdoor fireplace. Well equiped kitchen. It's our second time to stay there and will for sure book another stay.

Excellent place for a getaway

My family stayed at the Woodpecker while on a ski holiday for March Break and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Minutes to Mont Orford and the Sepac trails, plus my kids loved sledding and exploring on the property itself before jumping in the hot tub. It was exactly what we wanted!

Cozy stay

It was a very clean and nice place , we were welcomed by an amazing host, our car was stock and we couldn’t go uphill, but the host helped us with snowmobile . Very quiet and full equipped chalet, we will definily back

Perfect station!

Everything was perfect. We can have all we need for cooking, the fireplace is fabulous, no neighbors nearby, view of the woods, spa, etcAnd the owners were welcoming and helpful with ideas for activities nearby.

We lived every minute of our stay because the space suited us in its cleanliness, efficiency and proximity to everything.Two things would make it better:1. King sized bed2. Some kind of compensation with VRBO when inclement weather forces clients like ourselves to leave three days earlier than planned. We asked if we could book our three remaining days any other time and were told no.

After issues with check in where the owner didn't bother putting on air conditioning when it was 30C outside and the sun was shinning into the unit, took 4-5 hours to try and make it reasonable even though we were asking for help from owner. It's funny really in there house rules they advise that when you leave you should leave the unit at 20C but I guess one rule for some people. After the issues the unit is attached to the main house we didn't find a really good bakery in orford food was excellent Boulangerie Les Mouflets.

Bonjour, Nous sommes désolés d’apprendre que vous avez rencontré des difficultés avec le climatiseur lors de votre séjour. Celui-ci est une thermopompe qui, en temps normal, permet de rafraîchir le condo rapidement et efficacement, ce qui explique pourquoi nous n’avions pas eu de commentaires similaires auparavant. Concernant l’emplacement, il est effectivement indiqué dans l’annonce que le condo fait partie d’un duplex. Toutefois, les espaces extérieurs ont été aménagés de façon à offrir une bonne intimité à chacun des occupants. Les meilleures boulangeries de la région sont bien évidemment, le café des cantons et la Mie d’Orford où tout est fait sur place. Pour toute situation durant un séjour, nous vous encourageons à communiquer avec nous dès qu’un problème survient. Cela nous permet généralement d’intervenir rapidement et de trouver une solution afin que vous puissiez profiter pleinement de votre expérience. Au plaisir,

Très agréable

Mon conjoint et mon fils de 3 ans avons passé 2 nuits dans cet agréable chalet. Le séjour s'est très bien déroulé. Le chalet est tres bien situé pour les armateurs de plein air. Et l'accès au beau jardin et a un spa ont été grandement appréciés. Nous le recommandons pour un couple ou une petite famille.
