You’re going to love staying at our home away from home! Our charming and cozy 1920's craftsman has all the modern amenities (including the beloved Central AC & Heat) to help make your stay in Trinidad a memorable one.

If it's taking a siesta in one of the comfy beds, running a bath and soaking in the tub, or cooking up your best dish in the kitchen, we are confident our space will deliver the experience you are seeking!

Working remotely? No problem. Set up your laptop, connect to the WiFi, and get down to business. Just consider cutting out a little early for a hike at Fishers Peak (Colorado's 42nd State Park) or spinning your gravel bike tires on one of the many county roads in the area. Heck...You may even see a pro gravel rider or two out on the bike as they prepare for Trinidad's "The Rad", one of seven races that make up the Lifetime Grand Prix Series. Is there a space to safely park my bike(s)? Absolutely...We have a bike rack ready for you in our Utility/Laundry room! Want to ride but no bike! Head over to Trinidad’s local bike shop “Trantula Cycles” where Joe and Dave have some sweet rental options.

Lastly...If your time on the road has resulted in a few dirty clothes, never fear. Take advantage of washing a load or two in our full size washer and dryer. You and your travel partners will be glad that you did!

Fantastic little place to stop by when we went from Texas deeper into Colorado. Nice, clean and with great communication from the owners. The location was very easy to get to from the highway.Very dog friendly and my boys loved the fenced in backyard.

Great place to stay while in Trinidad. The yard was perfect for our pups. The front porch was amazing, loved sitting out and watching the rain. House was perfect size, more than enough room for all of us. Kitchen was good size and had everything for cooking. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely enjoyed the stay. The home was beautiful and cozy. Convenient location for everything. Our dogs enjoyed it the most. Barking at Chico, the neighbors Chihuahua, and the park that is right around the corner. Lake Trinidad was a nice experience.

We enjoyed staying in this house in Trinidad. Even though very close to town and some traffic, inside the house was very quiet. The front porch a nice place to sit and read or talk as well.

Pit Stop

This was a great half way point during our trip from Utah to Texas. Kinda sketchy neighborhood but once you walk in its completely transformed. Live the coffee spot, cute and cozy rooms, large enough and yet cozy enough for 3 of us.

Cozy Cottage

Pleasantly surprised with this cute cottage! Everything was provided that you could possibly need. Owner thought of everything including dog treats. Very welcoming and attentive. Beds were comfy and the weather excellent. Never slept better! House is within walking distance to downtown. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Cute old house in a bad neighborhood

The house is fantastic. It’s an old charmer. The neighborhood is very rough and we don’t trust parking in the street. There were kids racing their cars. The house was uneven and sloped but that’s part of a good house. The yard was horrible and weeds would have been better but was just a muddy mess.

Every guests arrives to a professionally cleaned house so we hope you enjoyed the cleanliness of the home. April/May is the mud season (it was raining during your visit) so we’re sorry that you were disappointed with a muddy backyard. We understand the older/boarded up home across the street is a bit of an eyesore (we wish we could remove ourselves) but we have great neighbors, access to Central Park, and the beautiful Trinidad State College campus.

Crazy weather

We arrived shortly after an unprecedented amount of snow fell. The snow plows came through and all the snow was piled up on the curb so there was no parking. No fault of the host but would have liked a heads up so I could have planned accordingly. Overall it’s a cute and cozy cottage just as advertised. We will be coming back and hope this property will be available.

Nicely restored older home

The house was as described, an older home that has been updated (although it has been painted since the posting photo, with chain-link fencing now surrounding the property, so it doesn't look exactly as shown). Nicely decorated, well stocked, comfortable. Fast wifi, smart lock access, nice enclosed front porch. Street parking only, but parking was abundant right in front of the house. The location is relatively close to downtown-- not easily walkable, but a three minute drive. The house is on a fairly busy street (I believe its a truck route around the city), so some traffic noise. The house is nicer than many others in the neighborhood. Communication with owner was easy-- prompt responses to our questions. The property quite adequately suited our needs for our 4 day stay.
