This was a ladies vacation making a huge circle starting in Kansas City and starting in Williamstown to see the Ark. It is a very charming, very clean property located near an adorable downtown area. It might be above a store front (the stairs gave me and my bestie a serious work out when unloading and loading the SUV) but it is absolutely adorable and was very clean and spacious. It is close to anything you might need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY
Perfect and charming location in the heart of Williamstown
Williamstown is a wonderful place to visit being in the middle of so many great sights to the north and the south and right there with the Ark Encounter, etc. This lovely little apartment/home away from home was the perfect spot to explore from. This is our second time staying here and we can’t wait for the next. From the super comfy beds to the well appointed kitchen, this is a favorite little spot! We spent 3 days at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter but also spent a day touring around Williamstown. Our favorite places there were Artisans and Antiques, Hansi Flip Burgers (YUM!), The Daily Grind coffee shop, and the William Arnold Log House. We managed to squeeze in a visit to the John Rankin House in Ripley, OH and the Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs in Louisville. Both of these were so worth visiting and perfect for a day’s excursion from Williamstown. Every star possible, we love this place!

Has Potential
My family and I are in KY 4-6 times a year. Our stays range from 5 days to 2 weeks at a time. We’ve stayed at a variety of VRBO’s in the area. PROS: The apartment was mostly clean, washer and dryer easily accessible, the beds were okay and WiFi worked. Linens and toiletries provided. CONS: Evidence of a pest problem (mouse droppings), missing that Southern hospitality we are used to experiencing when in the area and poor communication with the host. Host took up to 3 days to reply to messages. Average turnaround time was 24 hours. Has potential but our experience tells us there are better VRBO’s in the area.
We had a wonderful stay!
Brian and Diana were very responsive and helpful even before we booked with them.
Very happy we did!
My husband, our 4 kids, and my nephew, had plenty of space to spread out.
We were the only people around, so if privacy is your comfort, this spot is perfect for you.
Thank you for a great stay!
The apartment was comfy enough, but I was a bit taken aback by the steep stairs we had to use to get to it. It wasn’t a problem, but it could be for some. In a review it said it was a “quiet” location. It definitely was not! Lots of traffic noise during the night. The box fan provided good white noise. Overall it was clean, but we found a Capri Sun empty carton under the bed and a Sour Patch Kid on the floor in the living room. Owner addressed an issue with the lock promptly and was very nice. The price was fair due to the reasons listed.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We loved this location. It was close to the Ark Encounter and had lots of options around town and in neighboring towns for dinner and shopping. (Edwardo’s Pizza was amazing!) It was really a lovely, old 2nd-story walk-up to stay at with loads of character. It was decorated nicely yet practically. Our only issue was that we were there on some super hot days and the AC struggled a bit to keep up with the baking sun. It wasn’t bad just not super cool. The ceiling fans were a great help and we kept the blinds and curtains closed while out during the day so we were pretty comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!!
