Our pool table and games will keep you entertained. Our covered Hot tub will warm your soul. Vinyl to play and our unique Harry Potter room will thrill fans young and old.Our second floor games room is available on request for use, there is a damage deposit and rental fee for access to this area

What a unique place to spend a couple of nights while exploring Nova Scotia. Our two kids loved the hidden gems throughout the house and never struggled to find something fun to do in the pouring rain. The herd of cows were such a lovely way to enjoy a morning coffee or evening BBQ/hot tub!Great location quietly tucked away within a short drive to great restaurants, and scenic hiking trails!

"We had a wonderful stay overall! The hosts were absolutely amazing and very communicative. The location is fantastic, and the view from the back is truly incredible—we loved spending time out there. The house has so much to offer, though it would benefit from a bit more thorough cleaning, as the couches felt a bit musty. Unfortunately, the laundry facilities weren't working during our stay, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite those few details, we were very happy with our time here and appreciate the wonderful hospitality!"

Our kids, and our dog, loved it! Pool table, hot tub and Harry Potter-themed bedroom were big hits. Beach is right across the road to experience the high and low tides of the basin.

Our check in was easy- one thing I’d suggest is to have a flag or something to mark the driveway. The place was very unique and the hot tub was wonderful -complete with a brief visit from an adorable lab. We hiked the back hills and were rewarded with a spectacular view of the entire area of Blomidon’s waters. Sadly had no time for Cape Split.We enjoyed making quick suppers in the kitchen. Would highly recommend this place. Many things to do on a rainy day .

We didnt use the hot tub but it was clean. What a unique and creative spot. It is very close to beaches and hiking. Beautiful views.

We loved our stay. I would definitely recommend slippers if you are staying in the winter but other than that we had so much fun.

This spot was a gem! It was in a beautiful part of Nova Scotia and the eclectic charm of the 'barn' was exceptional. It was fun and interesting.

This location was an absolutely amazing time! Sean is an incrediable host in everyway. We had a blast for 5 days with 4 adults and 2 kids. Tons to do there for games and recreation, the Winston Chrurchill/Harry Potter/British Culture theme was incrediably well received by us all and so well thought out. Kids absolutely loved it. Who can say they slept behind a bookshelf!? Easy going vibes all around, and the wildlife there is amazing (especially if you are a birdwatcher I highly recommend it). The views are incrediable, the hot tub is to die for, home theater was so much fun. This location is 1 1/2 hours to Lunenberg/Oakland Island/Halifax. Wolfville Farmers market on a Sat was great however it was very busy (August in a university town) Close to the Provincial park (2minute drive) where you can walk on the oceanfloor or rock hound when the tide is out (which was really cool with beautiful stones). If we come back to Nova Scotia, we will be messaging Sean again for sure! 10/10

Great getaway

Very much enjoyed our stay here in this beautiful area. Our daughter particular loved the Harry Potter bedroom, and we all made good use of the pool table and hot tub. Very relaxing stay!

A relaxing adventure

A fun and relaxing stay with a rural backdrop. Both Sean and Arthur (the resident pup) made us feel welcome when we arrived. So much to do here, I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Host was very attentive to all our inquiries. Everything was as described. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time with all the available activities. They loved the Harry Potter room. Theatre was great had friends over to watch Barger hit his grand slam. Highly recommend for a family adventure

Amazing venue with lots of fun inside and out, and attention to detail. The Harry Potter room was a huge hit with my daughter and her friend, and the various activities on site including hot tub, pool (billiards), axe throwing, foosball, table tennis, Pac-man, and theatre style seating and screen were awesome. The bar and décor gave a great vibe and our group had an excellent time!

Charming get away

Sean has provided a delightful vacation experience in a quiet rural setting, steps from the beach and close to both Wolfville and the Cape Split hiking trails. Superb!

Such whimsical design, every day we found something new to smile at. The location is idyllic, we sat on the back deck and watched cows and birds of prey, and 5 min walk to beach. Such a relaxing place, and also so much fun with hot tub, pool table, Pac-Man machine, movie cinema setup and the upstairs fitness facility. All good!

Relaxing country side stay

We were in town for a few short days to pick up our daughter from the university about 15-20 minutes away. It gave us a quiet respite after a long drive and a chance to refuel before the drive back to Ontario. Everything you need was here, the living room was a perfect place to gather and watch a movie and the pool table and record player were appreciated by everyone. Thanks for a great stay!

This property is Special!

We visited here to celebrate our tweens middle school graduation. It was such a fun spot and so much to do for the tweens. They had fun watching movies on the big screen and playing games upstairs. The attention to detail and creativity that the owners put into this place makes it such a special spot. The host was kind and helpful. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend. Great location and wonderful stay!

You won’t regret it!

This is a place that you have to see to believe. It’s almost impossible to describe it, especially when I start off with “it’s a barn”. There is no lack of things to keep any age occupied, and the addition of the hot tub was a huge bonus! It’s definitely one of a kind, and we will definitely be back!

This is a very fun place to stay, lots of neat features. Our host Sean was quite responsive when we had questions. Cow pasture ends just outside the back window, and the cows came down to visit us a couple of times a day. Not far from a couple of Bay of Fundy beaches. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore nearby trails because of a fire risk hiking ban!Slightly tricky with a toddler (lots of things to mess with), but lots to keep our teenagers entertained.
