I was able to book the property through vrbo, we are Australian/irish travelling in Ireland. Unfortunately the communication from vrbo required us to download the app which we were unable to do as we kept getting notification the app wasn’t available in our region. Therefore the only way we knew we had a booking was when the money was debited from our account but it also meant we were unable to contact the host or receive any messages, luckily we knew where the property was and went there - the owner happened to be on site and wondered why we had t responded to her messages. Not the owners fault at all. Accommodation and owner both excellent
