A Sound decision

Tarasand is a beautiful property with a backyard beach that invites the whole family to be outside. Our 3 year old granddaughter loved the sand and lack of surf. The beach bottom is lumpy with some sea grass and sand mounds. We had starfish along the beach everyday, no need to go to starfish city. The North Sound is great for kayaks and paddleboards but good snorkeling requires some travel. The Rum Point reef is in the area. I did miss the sound of the surf. Bio bay is basically right across the street, a doable paddle with also some entry points from the shore. Two good beachfront restaurants are walking distance away.

Amazing location stunning views

What can I say the private beach is perfection, shallow waters, smooth enough for paddle boarding, teaming with star fish. The house is perfect for 2 families to share. The location is so peaceful compared to the west side of the island. The only downside is restaurants that are only maybe 5-7 miles away would take over an hour to get to so think wisely when making reservations! Lastly what would make this property amazing would be a pool with some immersed sun loungers! But that would be a bonus!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Property manager was great and very responsive. Location is a solid 45+ mins away from main activities, something to think about if you have kids.

Blissful

Tarasand was as beautiful in person as it was in pictures. A truly luxury villa with room for 7 adults. We mostly cooked meals there, and the kitchen was very sufficient. The table and chairs outside were perfect for dinners together. The grounds were perfect for lounging in several different areas. We were blessed with great weather the entire stay. Chloe was available for any unexpected needs. We wisely ordered 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for our week stay, and used them every day. This is the nicest place I have stayed at, and look forward to a future visit.

The perfect home in the perfect location

This location tops our list of several rentals we have chosen over the years. We traveled with our sr. adult parents and our grown son / daughter-in-law for a relaxing week away from reality. This property was perfect for everyone. The home was beautiful and well kept. The on-line description was exactly on-point. The view from every window was gorgeous and the beach was absolutely perfect. We spent hours on our private beach finding star fish, rays, and small shells. The hammock, lounge chairs and tables on the beach provided everything we needed to just relax, cook out on the grill and enjoy each other. The location is about 45 minutes from the bustle of George Town, but super close to all of the major activities we wanted to enjoy. Rum Point is just a couple of minutes away and we enjoyed many excursions like excellent snorkeling, jet skis, sting ray city, the bioluminecent kayak tour and other great fun, all from there. We picked a day or two to go into George Town to enjoy shopping and the turtle center. The drive was easy, but we really enjoyed just being at the house and enjoying the private beach. We could not give a better rating for Tarasand and we look forward to returning soon.

Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to my family! This place is truly paradise! Pics are accurate and it seems like something out of a magazine! This place has everything you need! We actually left some floats and snorkeling gear for others to enjoy! We will definitely be coming back to the beautiful Cayman Islands 🏝🐠

Beautiful Property

The home was clean, well stocked, and vary spacious. The very private property was stunning with many shade trees and great sandy walk-in beach. The Cay in front is filled with all kinds of fish, and you can kayak right around the point into bioluminescent bay. A truly memorable experience for the 5 of us, and I would highly recommend this property.

Great House on a beautiful private beach!

Great beautiful House, well stocked, comfortable beds, fantastic private beach! We LOVED our stay here. Safe, easy, fun! There are no kayaks or paddle boards included as mentioned, but they can be rented down the street at Rum Point or the marina. We enjoyed a boat excursion to sting ray city and snorkeling not far from the coast. Ask for Captain Joe (who also is a photographer). We ate down the street at "The Caboose" which was amazing local food! Take bug spray or order it to go. No night life in the area, but if you are looking for relaxing and beautiful and safe, this is IT!! Rental car was easy and drive is not hard at all, even driving on the left. Groceries in Georgetown are less expensive.

Fantastic! Very quiet neighborhood and your own beach with some of the best snorkeling. House is beautiful! Great location to walk to Kaibo or Rum Point. Bioluminescence bay right around the corner.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. Lots of kitchen counter space, coffee pot, blender, comfortable beds, nice private sandy beach, large laundry room, n 2 wonderful master suites. The improvements we would like to see is more paper products, pen n paper, more wash clothes, complete board games, outdoor grill needs repair or replacement, wifi password availability and a huge warning about the jellyfish that live in this bay!!! All in all we enjoyed our stay. Ps be aware that every morning between the hrs of 4 and 6 am a rooster will visit the property every morning!!! Mr. T & family

Our group of 8 adults absolutely loved our home for 1 week at the north end of Grand Cayman. We were able to see most of the island but were very content hanging around our home, as we had it all. The home had plenty of room and we never felt crowded. We loved that we could always find shade on our beach. We were within walking distance of both Rum Point and Kaibo. What a great place to have a relaxing vacation. The lushness of the landscaping exceeded our expectations. To wake up to the view everyday was more than amazing.

Great home for families with kids

We loved Tarasand. This is a great property for folks with kids. It is right on the beach and the floor to ceiling windows make it easy to watch them as they play. The water is warm and calm. There are good number of activities but Caman Kai is not too busy and has a nice, relaxed community feel. The restaurants are convenient and good. We highly recommend it.

The perfect location

Tarasand is a beautiful villa. Large kitchen, very spacious layout. A perfect tropical private beach with plenty of room for sunning and palm trees for shade. The property was very clean upon arrival. Chloe, our island contact was very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this villa to family and friends. We are planning to return next year.

Exceptional property !

Tarasand is truly a gem, with impeccable interior and exterior design. It has a very open layout, filled with natural light. The views from every room are breathtaking. The property is perfectly located in an area of calm waters, yet brilliantly gleaming blue and green waters against the sandy beaches. The well-appointed furnishings present as a model-home - exquisite taste and quality. Our family includes three children 5-10 years old, and Tarasand was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. The private beach, allowed the children to be in Heaven our entire stay. The property owners are of an exceptional caliber - an issue out of the owner's control arouse, yet the owners went above and beyond to make it right. Grand Cayman Villas really manage this property well - any request has been addressed immediately and satisfactorily. The listing description is accurate and the property is clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend this property - if you are looking for a worry-free vacation - this is it!

Excellent place!

Every vacation traveler has two basic concerns: is the destination exactly as advertised - and - what happens when unexpected things happen? Neither one of these worries is valid with the Tarasand Villa. The place is exactly as advertised, perfect in every aspect. It is obvious that a whole lot of thought was put into the villa, when it was built. It offers every possible amenity a family would need. Perfect layout, great quality furniture, awesome kitchen and all necessary appliances and kitchen tools. Secluded place, perfect private beach, perfect for families with kids who can play outside while supervised from the living room. One night due to a tropical storm the power went out. Chloe - the property manager - was more than great in her responses. All our concerns were addressed immediately with above and beyond solutions. These people really care about what they do and try to offer a perfect vacation experience. We spent 11 nights there, enjoying every bit of our time. Fully recommend this place as a sure thing for anyone who is looking to be away from the usual tourist traps and crowded resort areas.

Beautiful Cayman Beach House

My family of six has typically stayed on Seven Mile Beach but decided to spend the holidays at Tarasand this year. We loved the house and the private beach. It was beautiful inside and out, with comfortable furniture and incredible views. It was clean and well taken care of. The beach is huge and very private, beautifully landscaped and with plenty of furniture. Be aware that the area has a different feel than Seven Mile Beach, including the fact that it is on the Sound, so the water is relatively placid (though still beautiful and clear). We took side trips to Seven Mile Beach a couple of times, and that was enough for us. My four kids range from 10-20 years old, and all loved the house--and we had room to spare. It was really the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and ocean in a private and beautiful setting.

A magnificent newly remodeled contemporary home with a fiji feel. Extremely well equiped and suprisingly comfortable (the furniture looks very New York), the home sits on a beautiful and quiet beach with the mandatory tropical trees to sit beneath. Classic Cayman Kai gin-clear water makes for great snorkeling, or a 2 minute drive to the public access north side beach lets you swim out to the reef. There are 2 "master bedrooms" with master baths,and both have excellent privacyshould 2 couples desire to rent, and 2 other bedrooms that are far above average in this rental community. Great walking/biking in the area, and very friendly neighbors make the vacation feel far from the ordinary carribean escape. 2 great beach bars and multiple excellent restaurants are just icing on the cake. The home is very well maintained, and the caretaker is more than able to help with special requests (such as high chairs for children up to jet ski/boat rentals. I miss it already. Chi town Tuscan
