Luxury Vila with Private Pool and Ocean Views - Sleeps 20

Thank you for your review. We continue to work on making our vila the best that it can be while also keeping it affordable for our guests. We do intend on making significant renovations to the vila after this current summer season. This will include upgrades to kitchen and kitchen appliances, upgrade to bathrooms, and adding terrace and additional outdoor furniture. We have also purchased the two adjoining properties and plan on incorporating the additional space by adding two/three additional structures and expansive garden areas for hosting larger parties and special events. Our goal is always to exceed our guest’s expectations. We will not stop until we do so.

I appreciate the review, however, some of the comments are factually incorrect. First, Vila Dom Carlos is located on Rua Dom Carlos I and not Rua did Depositos with breathtaking panoramic views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Obidos Lagoon. On clear nights, one can see the the medieval village of Obidos illuminated at a distance. The beach is a 7-10 minute walk. We have 4 grown children but when they were small, we would all walk down to the beach, two in strollers. Most recently, our parents have stayed with us. They are in their late 70’s and early 80’s. All more than capable of walking down to the beach with no issue. There is no mention of a hot tub. We do have a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom with jets. Great for a relaxing soak after biking, running, windsurfing, or a long walk. We have invested over 200,000 euros in renovations to include a new refrigerator and other kitchen appliances.
