About this property

A year-round retreat for adrenaline junkies

Enjoy peace and quiet in this stylish, recently-renovated home. Built in 1907, the property sits at the end of the street and backs up to the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. Nestled into the trees above the historic town of Wallace, Idaho, this beautiful property was the only house on the mountainside that survived the Great Fire of 1910. You can learn more about this historic fire by driving just 1 mile to the Pulaski Trail trailhead and experiencing the 1.5-4 mile hike.
Relax in front of a warm fire or take a soak in the hot tub after a day of snowmobiling or skiing; or enjoy a home-cooked meal after a hike or a family bike ride on the Route of the Hiawatha.
With beds for 7-12 people, you're sure to make lasting memories here at the Adrenaline Mountain Retreat!

Lovely home in the trees

This was one of the best equipped kitchens that we’ve ever encountered in our vacation rental stays. The house was spotless and roomy with ample bedrooms. One of the bathrooms is in the basement. The owners provided thoughtful items that one might forget or be in need of more. The house has been lovingly restored.

Beautiful home in the mountains. Last home on a dead end street. Perfect for our family of 11.

This is the nicest and funnest home we have ever rented on Vrbo. It’s an old home totally remodeled and it is stunning. So much room. And furnished with all the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom supplies you would ever need. Hot tub was awesome. And we used the bbq proved to cook steak and shrimp one night. Such a beautiful home in the middle of so many fun things to do. The Hiawatha bike trail was amazing. Close to an awesome zip line, gold mining tour, and Silverwood theme park plus so much more. Will definitely stay here aga!

We had a crew of 10 adults and one 2 year old. The house was very comfortable for all of us with plenty of space. Well stocked with everything you could need for a week long stay with that many people, linens, cleaning supplies, tp, etc. The supplied coffee was appreciated. The hosts were extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests. The location is perfect, a nice blend of privacy yet still within walking distance to downtown Wallace. 20/10, would stay again.

It was a unique experience staying in a historic home. The kitchen was very well stocked with baking basics, pots and pans, dishes, and linens. There were plenty of towels for the bathrooms and hot tub. The hot tub was relaxing after hiking and biking all day. There were lots of books and games that helped entertain us. The host was so great. Easy to communicate with and very accommodating. This was a great week long "camping" trip.
