If you are looking for a cozy, private retreat to lay your head after a day of enjoying the abundance the Kenai Peninsula has to offer, this is it. Our tastefully decorated "Alaskan" home is less than 1/2 mile from the Kenai River, close to the Funny River Campground (that boasts some of the best fishing holes) and near a public boat launch. If you love golf, get in a round at the nearby Bird Homestead course. We are only 14 short miles from town and the drive up is incredible with mountain views and lots of opportunities to see Moose. Enjoy all the amenities this home has to offer, including a fully stocked kitchen for those home cooked meals. The oven has a built-in air fryer, along with a deep fryer and gas BBQ to cook up your daily catch! Enjoy the long summer nights and smores next to the solo stove. The home sits on 1 acre and has a separate tiny house and shop that is periodically occupied by the owners. The owner is also a fishing guide on the Kenai if you are looking to book a trip!

We love the outdoors, specifically hunting and fishing. We were drawn to Alaska by the breathtaking beauty and abundance of outdoor activities. We built our home as an escape from everyday life. We love it here and hope that you do as well!
Why they chose this property
The drive up to the house is spectacular with mountain views and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. It is not uncommon to wake up to Moose right outside the front door. Our small neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

We are in a perfect location. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of Soldotna and Kenai, but just a short drive away from shopping and delicious cuisine. Our home is located in a private, secluded neighborhood and is very close to the Kenai and some of the best fishing spots.
