We stayed here for my son’s graduation from army basic training. We were only an hour away from the base and the house accommodated my large group perfectly! We flew into Charlotte, NC which was a 2 hour drive but I’m sure the airport in Columbia would be closer.

Beautiful peaceful stay

8 of us stayed here for the Spartan trifecta weekend. The house is beautiful, well kept, and clean. The beds and showers are incredible, it was a perfect place for us to relax together as a friend group and recover. Host was responsive and immediately available. Will definitely be back!

Awesome property

Since we arrived the owner has been super helpful with everything and been super responsive as well. Everything was exactly as it showed in the pictures and in fact it looked better in person. Everything was really clean and tidy and there was so much to enjoy, especially in the downstairs area. We were also only seconds away from the boat ramp and lake. Amazing stay!

It's a big house with lots of room. The TV/game room is huge and very nice. You can make as much noise as you want in there and not disturb anyone in the rest of the house. The kitchen/dining area is large with lots of cabinets. There are three bedrooms on the main floor and two upstairs. They all have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are nice and modern. The screened-in patio is nice for morning coffee and board games. There is a nice swing/slide set for children. Overall it is a great house that needs a thorough cleaning inside and out.

Family Birthday Getaway

This location was a great choice for our lake weekend to celebrate birthdays of multiple family members. The house was well stocked with tools and pans to prepare your own food, there were multiple areas for people to gather and relax. We thought the property was right on the water with its own dock. It was not, however there was an access point a short distance away that the property could use.

The “lakefront home” description and pictures were misleading. The cleanliness, especially kitchen was less than expected - had to wash most of dishes, glasses, tableware before use.Rooms were comfortable, everything was in working order with exception of blender and food processor, which I really consider “extra” appliances, but I did want to use. Found an immersion blender which was great. Heating and hot water worked great. Plenty of comfortable seating, TVs, dining table.

The home isn’t advertised as lakefront, and make sure the listing is accurate as as sent detailed descriptions of the property including water access availability prior to guest arrival. Just one block away, there’s a full dock area where guests can launch boats or kayaks. The owner of the dock asks for a nominal $2 per day fee to help with maintenance. We also strive to make the house as well-equipped as possible—especially the kitchen—so guests have everything they might need during their stay. Throughout each visit, we make a point to check in multiple times during the stay and respond quickly to any questions or concerns to ensure a pleasant, stress-free experience.
