My family had a great time here. The home has an interesting decor and everything needed, including plenty of games to keep you occupied. The yard does have a slight slope but still able to enjoy games outside and campfire in the evening. We also found the lake to be much less crowded than other's we stayed, which was nice. Would definitely recommend and book again.
We had a great time with friends and family. Kids had fun with all the games and paddle boat. Lake is scenic and hardly any traffic. Will keep on my re-visit list.
Everything was as expected. It was clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit, the deck, fishing off the dock, being right on the lake, playying some games provided, and seeing an eagle flying over the lake a couple times. :)
This place was amazing for a shirt trip of a couple days. Had so much fun with the water toys and place was well stocked for all meal needs. The bed were super comfortable. Thank you again! Will definitely come back.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so glad you had a great time. You were amazing guest and thanks so much for leaving the place as it was! Hope you come back again.
We choose location based on bedroom spaces and proximity to casino and winery options. First look from outside was unexpected, but once we got inside it had amenities and space as described.
Great place! Very close to where we needed to unload a storage unit. Lots of games and fun things for the kids to do in the water. Fit the 8 of us perfectly! House was very clean!
The property was absolutely gorgeous . My grand kids had a wonderful time with paddle boat. They had brought fishing poles and fished off the dock. It was wonderful watching the cousins bond. Thank you to the host for allowing this to happen. The house was everything described.
My group of 7 women stayed in this delightful cottage on Union Lake for 3 days. Having 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed us to have our own spaces. We had a bonfire on our last night and made s'mores. While the weather didn't cooperate we had a great time exploring the small towns nearby as well as going to the River Lake Inn and the Broadway Bar and Grill in Union City. We woke up to a great blue heron sitting on our dock to several groups of geese with their goslings floating by. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Maria and Jim!
Myself, my kids, a couple family members and a couple of my kids friends stayed at this house. It was the best layout for our group. The adults had upstairs and the tens took the lower level.
These hosts had so many water toys (kayaks, paddle boat, paddle boards), there was fun had by all.
Great views from the deck and a comfortable house!
I would highly recommend it!
The property was perfect for fishing off the dock as well as docking our boats to fish the lake. The house was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Outdoors there are kayaks, paddle boards, cornhole boards, a fire pit. Inside the house was very clean and well kept. Jim is an amazing owner. He was very quick and informative to communicate with. He had the house well stocked with towels, paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. He has the house set up with anything you would need. It suited our needs perfectly and will likely be back again.
The host (I assume) has the AC preset to 79 and you can adjust it down but after two hours it goes right back to 79 which becomes a real problem during the night when you wake up covered in sweat and now can't go back to sleep after getting up every few hours to lower the temp. It seems with the high price per night we should be able to have the AC control however we want it during our stay.

"I take pride in responding quickly to any guest concerns and am always available during a stay. The thermostat is fully adjustable and functions properly, but it appears there was some confusion in how to use it. At the time of your stay we did not have it preset to 79. Somehow it was put on eco mode by someone staying there. Since I wasn’t contacted during the visit, I wasn’t able to provide assistance at the time. I encourage guests to reach out right away so any questions can be resolved promptly and their stay remains comfortable. I remain committed to providing a positive experience for everyone.
We just returned from a 3 night stay and it was WONDERFUL! I wish we could have stayed longer. This home is super duper clean and the interior is so updated and beautiful. We loved the sea glass mural art that lights up. We loved relaxing in the deck and also playing with all the lake activities. My daughter and I loved the paddle boat and she also loved the paddle board, she took out around the lake. The kayaks were really nice for checking out the beautiful calm quiet lake as well. The host replied within minutes of any questions I had and they were very accommodating. This is a special home with lots of games inside for rainy weather. We highly recommend this home.💙

Thank you so much for the review! I’m happy you noticed the little touches we worked so hard on. I’m glad you had a great time and I hope you and your guest come back again. :).
This cottage is so cute and fit us 8 adults very comfortably! It has any amenity you might need and provides lots of games and things to do. The pontoon boat rental was a game changer. However, there are a couple things to be noted. The lawn area is not ideal for lawn games or even just sitting around the fire as it is on a huge slant. Second, the water right off the dock did not look swimmable and we didn’t try. It was filled with weeds and dead fish and other gunk. We were able to swim in the middle of the lake so thats fine but would’ve been nice to hang off the dock etc. Overall though, Jim was very helpful and a great host and we had a blast at his place!
I can say without reservation that this property was beyond perfect for my family and we had an absolute blast. There are seven of us and we all existed comfortably for three nights. The upstairs/downstairs configuration was really cool, with an open kitchen to living space up-top and a game room style down-below. And to speak nothing of the decoration and attention to detail would be a crime. The place felt brand new and it was immaculate. With a well-equipped kitchen, we made dinner and ate looking out from the patio to a pristine lake vew. They had enough water toys for all of us to be out on the water at the same time. Fishing off the dock was very active, mostly small bluegill and bass. Owners were clear with instructions and attentive to our needs, which were few to none becuase the owners seemed to have thought of everything. My only warning to folks is that the backyard is steep coming down from the patio and the metal slat at the top of the dock can be slippery. Other than that, I say booking it. Worth every penny.
