Buckhorn Luxury Lakefront Cottage with Dock and Boatlift

Very updated 2 bedroom 1.5 bath cottage on Pigeon lake. Step out the sliding glass door of your kitchen onto your 14X23 deck that overhangs Pigeon lake. Take 4 steps and you will be on your private 6x30 dock. Water depth at the end of the dock is 5 feet with a rocky bottom, you can dive in and go for a swim. Western exposure for fantastic sunsets every night. The cottage has a full updated kitchen with everything you will need including a dishwasher and Microwave. Upstairs the 180 degree views of the lake are to die for. The Living room has a wall of windows that all open to let the cool lake breezes blow through. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has double bunk beds. The Living room has 2 couches one of them pulls out into a double bed. The cottage also has satellite TV and laundry facilities. Wifi and Netflix. Plenty of parking and large grass areas. Propane BBQ directly out your back door.
Direct waterfront, any closer and you would be floating.
Stairs with handrail into water.
Private 6X30 dock with great fishing and swimming.
Sandy beach nearby.
Sandbar directly across the lake.
Fire pit.

Great Cottage close to all amenities

We had a great week at this cottage. Beautiful sunsets over Bobcaygeon, golf nearby, good selection of restaurants in Buckhorn (Chinese and pizza excellent), great swimming off the dock, not a fisherman but the ones going by said fishing was good, cottage stocked with all the essentials, good internet and satellite TV.

Relaxing Weekend Away

We stayed for 4 nights at the cottage for a relaxing family weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage was lovely, it had everything we needed and more, the location was beautiful, right on the lake, and the owner Chris was really nice, very easy to deal with. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. You can't get any closer to the water, and the sunsets were spectacular. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by, as well as the loons. The cottage itself was equipped with everything you would need. And Chris, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with. When I told him my husband had some mobility issues, he built an extension to the railing, to make it easier for him to use the stairs. Would recommend this cottage for sure.

Relaxing time

Easy to check in & out. Beautiful sunsets. The deck on the water was our best part of the little holiday. Neat and tidy but in my opinion it wasn't "luxury". But that's me. No place to keep our boat, because of unfortunate weather damage, which we were told the morning before arriving. Nice getaway though.

Wonderful cottage getaway

Wonderful time

My family had a great time. My teenage boys spent a lot of time fishing off the doc and with the peddle boat. We also went on a few hikes using the trails behind the cottage and plan to go on the trails on the island next time we're there.

Beautiful spot right on the water

Our family spent a week at this beautiful spot. Chris was an excellent host and responsive to all questions and was there to meet us when we arrived. The property was right on the water and enjoys some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. The property itself is well cared for and being right on the water made it easy for the kids to swim every day. We loved the space and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away.

Peace and tranquility

As an adult family we really enjoyed this cottage. Just to be on the deck right on the water having morning coffee was so lovely. We didn’t have a boat or fish but it is ideal for that.

Place was just as described. The boathouse was sparkling clean and had everything that we needed. We stayed for 6 nights. Chris was very easy to contact and was always available for questions. We had a wonderful time. Oh and yes.. place has the best sunset views!
