Villa Laranja är en exceptionell, modern villa med fantastisk havsutsikt i den vackra familjesorten Praia da Luz. Det har lyxen att vara cirka 15 minuters promenad (eller 5 minuters bilresa) från stranden och stadens många barer och restauranger. Villan bibehåller dock fortfarande en hög grad av integritet genom att vara belägen i ett lugnt bostadsområde. Det fullt utrustade köket ligger på bottenvåningen. Detta leder till den fantastiska cirkulära matsalen som följer in i den rymliga, öppna och välutrustade loungen. Två uppsättningar av stora franska dörrar öppnar ut mot terrassen och det privata poolområdet och erbjuder underbar utsikt över staden och kusten. Loungen har tre stora lädersoffor, 50 ”Smart TV, Apple TV, iPod-docka, Freeview internet TV, PS3. Ett stort DVD- och Blu-Ray-bibliotek finns till hands. Det finns också en riktig vedeldad spis om kvällarna blir kyliga! Villan och den uppvärmda poolen har fantastisk havsutsikt och det finns en permanent tegelbyggd grill. Poolen har steg lämpliga för barn. Pooldimensionerna är 4. 1m x 9. 5m.

Det finns en liten lekplats bara 30 sekunder promenad från villan.

Om Villa Laranja: Detta är en idealisk lyxbase för alla grupper av golfare och icke-golfare, eftersom det rymmer upp till 15 vuxna, har enastående havsutsikt och ligger i närheten av både Praia da Luz och den vackra fiskebyn Burgau för fantastiska restauranger, pubar etc. Den vackra gamla staden Lagos är också mycket nära.

För speciella tillfällen kan vi organisera champagne, födelsedagskakor, spa-dagar i villan - du heter det och vi kan försöka hjälpa till.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay in gorgeous villa in Luz. Incredibly well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for a large group of adults. Each room with ensuite bathroom which was excellent. Cannot fault Richard and Karen as hosts; communication was faultless from booking to departure. Photos don’t do the villa justice, prime hillside location with incredible sea views from the terrace.

Very good stay and close to town

The house was very good. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and food prep. The property was good as was the location, both for accessibility to the highway and proximity to town. It is easily walkable to town, a little more difficult coming back due to the elevation, but not bad. The pool was great for the kids and we paid to have it heated which worked wonderfully. The parking on property worked easily for the three vehicles we had. It was easy on and off for the pool cover. You should bring towels as the towels provided were only bathroom towels (no pool or beach towels). Also, the washing machine was broken so we had to find a laundromat. Overall a good home and a very good value.

Familyholiday in Luz

Villa Laranja was a optimal place for our familyholiday with 15 persons. There is enough room to be together, to enjoy the pool and to cook in kitchen. The location is very good, peacefull but in the walking distance from the sea.

Superb villa FAB family holiday

Villa has a great layout, spacious and comfortable for a large party. There were 14 of us! Kitchen was well equipped advise more unbreakable glasses & crockery for use outside. Plenty of sunloungers, shade and large dining area made outdoor living comfortable. Perfect area to explore our favourite areas on the western algarve.

Le paradis sur terre

Endroit magnifique, vue sur l'océan, environnement calme et accès facile. Le village de Luz lumineux, comme son nom l'indique, très fleuri et accueillant propose des commerces et restos sur sa promenade bordant la praia da luz. Notre séjour en famille a été parfait. Very relaxing week

The villa was perfect for a big group like ours: a big kitchen so that multiple people could be in there at once. Much appreciated shade on the terrace. Great that all the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. A short walk down into the village (uphill back but perfectly do-able). Property managers super responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Nice family villa

Our group of 15 people from three generations enjoyed our stay at the Villa Laranja. Communication with the owner and the property manager was solid and all of our needs was taken care with minimal delay. Bedrooms were nice and the pool area was beautiful and pool was big enough for our needs. Only complaint would be the kitchen equipment: knives could use sharpening or replacement and other kitchenware were pretty scarce, if you are looking to cook something for bigger crowd. All and all solid experience for big family vacation in Algarve!

Good for large parties

Overall a good villa for large parties. The villa could do with some tlc. We had no welcome pack not even any toilet paper, which is very poor, for the amount we paid. The sky subscription ran out during stay, reported but not sorted. Also the floor of swimming pool very rough, all the children have cuts on their feet. In the house book of rules, you are asked to keep house clean and tidy, we didn’t even have any kitchen spray and the Dyson in charge in the kitchen was missing the main part, so unable to hoover.

Fantastic

Beautiful villa with absolutely stunning sea views. We were a group of 10, ranging in age from 28-60, and we all loved the villa and Luz itself. We also had 2 dogs with us and it worked perfectly for them too as the garden is secure. Yes it’s a hike up the hill from the town but the pay off is the view from the villa, and the walk would not be a problem to anyone with reasonable mobility. A taxi if required is only €4-5. There is a great selection of restaurants and bars in the town and a couple of supermarkets between the villa and the beach. The town has more of a family/ couples vibe than a party town, and that suited us perfectly. Staff in the shops, bars and restaurants were all super friendly. The pool area is beautiful with lots of loungers/ seating and is immaculate All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the villa, Praia da Luz and the Algarve

Beautiful villa in Luz

The property was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Each room had its own en suite which was ideal. The outdoor space was lovely. There were gathering places for conversations and a beautiful table for games. Our host was wonderful and extremely responsive! The location of the property was great for the places we wanted to see. We would highly recommend this property!

A Little Slice of Noisy Relaxation

Villa Laranja, located in Luz (near Lagos, Portugal), and is just what the doctor ordered for up to 14 weary travelers. The rooms were all terrific, each with a private bathroom, and the common areas easily accommodated our traffic jam of 12 guests. Wonderful stay in a beautiful home

Our family group of 9 had a wonderful 2 week stay. The villa is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas and the pool, and the beautiful views over the sea. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a short 10 minutes walk downhill into Luz. It was great also to have regular visits by staff to check the pool, garden maintenance and a full house clean and fresh linens after week 1. We'd have liked to have had a garlic press, some table place mats and a blender or food processor available, as we self-catered quite a bit. Overall a fantastic place for a large group to stay. Would highly recommend.

Great villa and host

We were a party of 4 adults and 6 children (ages 4-9) have just finished a very enjoyable stay at this lovely villa in August 2023. There was plenty of space and the pool and surrounding exterior patio areas were a real highlight. Perfect villa for 3-generation family holiday

The property was absolutely perfect for our family of 14, ranging from a 1 year old to a 77 year old. The rooms are spacious and well stocked with everything you might need for your holiday. Every room is en-suite which is a real bonus. The pool is a decent size for a villa pool and the children in our party spent hours each day in it. The view is fantastic and the balcony configuration is genius. There was great communication with the owners in the lead up to our stay and we had absolutely no problems whilst we were there. The walk to the beach/resort centre was a little too long for the oldest and youngest in our group especially the incline on the return journey, but fine for most. It is worth noting that there isn’t much in the way of shops/restaurants closer to the property than the resort centre. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

Fantastic place to stay for a week to catch up with pals. Great space indoor and outdoor with well stocked kitchen and bbq. It is quite a walk up from the beach / shop so you need a car or we used a lot of Ubers!!

Lovely Luz!

We were 5 college friends from the 80's who took a girl's trip to Portugal. We all loved Karen's villa. 4 of the rooms have beautiful views of the ocean and separate balcony entrances. The pool was great, and the house has all the kitchen amenities you need. Because you have to take the garbage out before you depart, it would have been nice to have had garbage bags to use, there was only one. The dishwasher was difficult to operate and didn't work the last day, but we all said we would stay here again and everything else was great. The neighborhood is quiet, and the area is very safe. It's about an 18 minute walk from the villa to the water downhill and coming back is a bit more difficult depending on your physical level. We always found easy parking in Luz, however. We had to change our stay at the last minute and Karen was so accommodating with the change and I really appreciated that. Luz is a special place, the people are so friendly, and the food is excellent! Thank you!

So much fun!

This house was great for a multigenerational family. We enjoyed the view, the pool and the ability to provide eleven people with anything you needed in the kitchen and outside area. It was a short drive to the beach, stores and restaurants, but doesn't really lend itself to walking there. The pool was heated and was the center of the action. Also it was a great location to go and explore many other sections of the Algarve. For a first time visit to the area it was a great place to stay.
