You will love our newly remodeled home. We wanted to have the modern updates but keep that wonderful charm that made us fall in love with this town. Cozy up in our living room to watch a movie, or a favorite show on the 50 inch Roku TV, or enjoy a good read in the comfort of a reading area in 1 of our 2 spacious bedrooms. Our updated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The bathroom has a wonderful spacious shower with complimentary shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and a few extra essentials just in case you're in need. You will have the option of a night in and BBQ enjoy the sitting area and having a cold beverage. Listen to music on our Bluetooth Rock Speakers. This house is just minutes away from Downtown with plenty of places to eat a wonderful little shops. You can also enjoy great Eatery, Bar & Grill and even Antique shopping just 5 blocks away. You can take a morning walk around this lovely quiet neighborhood and listen to the sounds of nature. You will love your stay. We are again a per friendly home. We do ask that pet please not be allowed on any furniture and on the beds. There will also be a $75 charge for each dog. A maximum of 2 dogs per stay. We also ask that you please pick up any poop so that our next guests don’t step on any surprises. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
We will appreciate no dishes with food be left in the sink. Please rinse and place in dishwasher. Thank you
All leftover food and garbage should be taken to the yellow lid garage bin in front of the house or on the curb. This avoids any pest issues. We take pride in our homes condition and for our guests.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house but we have ashtrays in a designated area in the backyard . Please make sure it is not lit when disposing.
Air conditioner thermostat should not be set lower than 70 to avoid freezing or damaging to the unit.
We will be a pet friendly place, but they are not allowed on any of the furniture and beds please. $75 per pet will be charged. 2 maximum Thank you

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean and well cared for, which made it easy to settle in and relax. The location couldn’t be better—quiet, safe, and convenient to everything in Mount Dora. Restaurants, shops, and the downtown area were just minutes away. We truly enjoyed our visit and would absolutely stay here again!

Great place in Mount Dora

We were in town for a beach volleyball tournament and stayed at Maria’s place. It was perfect for our quick trip and had everything we needed!! Maria even asked if we needed an early check in and accommodated us.

Perfect getaway close to everything mount dora offers

Quiet location, private backyard with excellent sitting and eating area for the whole family. nicely redone kitchen with upgraded appliances. Bathroom was clean and has an amazing shower. there was everything we could have asked for and nothing we found subpar. Will definitely look to stay here again.

The perfect weekend!

My mom, sister, and I were traveling to Mount Dora to visit family over the weekend. We absolutely loved this spot! It was cute, comfy, and cozy - the three things I look for when booking a place to stay! Maria was so helpful and great with communication. Comfy Time at the Ruiz Oasis

This property is immaculate, and the hosts thought of everything we might want to enjoy our time in their home. It was super clean and well supplied. The kitchen and bath are new. It is in a walkable neighborhood. The host provided excellent communications. It is a great vrbo to which we would return for another stay.

The house is very spacious for a small house. The kitchen was like new as was the bathroom. My wife and I both agreed that we would be comfortable living in the house with the furniture and decor as it’s set now. We will make a return visit.

Perfect in so many ways!

What a great host. She was more than accommodating and just a text message away!! The house is located outside downtown Mt. Dora. It's the cutest little place. She did a great job decorating for Christmas!!! The house had EVERYTHING we could need and it smelled amazing. My dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and the kids took advantage of riding scooters on the quiet street and had a blast on the arcade. I highly recommend renting this adorable, comfortable Mt. Dora home.

Spectacular and very responsive owner

This is a lovely property! Large driveway and fenced in yard allows privacy and all the comforts of home! Nice walk into town. The owner is fabulous! Very responsive and friendly, easy to communicate with! I would give a higher rating of 10! I can’t wait to rent again! But my real passion is watching family, friends, and coworkers enjoy my cooking and my baking. Have always loved sharing food, especially with gatherings, something I inherited from my parents. This is what has led me to Hosting. I love when guests feel comfortable and enjoy their time together at our home. Hope you’re able to get the chance to visit us soon.

Why they chose this property

When we first started visiting Lake County area, we fell in Love with Mount Dora. Its beautiful downtown and friendly atmosphere was a given that this was the place for us. Our neighborhood is close enough with a five minute drive to downtown, but nice and quiet enough to be able to sit and relax in the back yard. Enjoy making some BBQ or ordering pizza just 2 blocks away from Dirty Richard’s Pizza Shop & Pub, they even have the 28 inch, amazingly delicious. Play some Arcade, enjoy some wine or refreshments.
We are also walking distance to other great eateries and be one of the locals.

What makes this property unique

We really wanted to make this a home away from home so we have an Arcade, lots of games, and reading books for you to enjoy and relax.
