Nestled in peaceful surroundings, this modern retreat offers a tranquil getaway while still being conveniently close to outdoor adventures and the natural wonders of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks as well as Bears Ears National Monument.

Inside, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, perfect for preparing meals for your day trips or enjoying cozy dinners at home. Relax in the comfortable living area with satellite TV, and stay connected with complimentary WiFi and softened well water throughout your stay.

Accommodations include a bunk room with a double-over-double bunk bed and a queen sofa bed in the living area, providing ample space for families or groups of friends. Please note, pets are not allowed, and there is parking available for up to 4 vehicles.

Amazing views, super quiet and the house was super clean. Used the house as our base to explore Moab, Canyonlands and Arches, location worked well for us especially for the Needles district. We enjoyed the sunsets and quiet during our trip. Lots of mule deer and wildlife. Great spot to escape the business of moab.

Amazing views & peaceful cabin near Moab

Yellow Door Retreat is an amazing get away in the beautiful Manti La Sal National Forest, not far from the excitement and activities of Moab and the National Parks of Southeast Utah. Jeff, the property manager, was friendly and professional. The cabin was immaculate, well stocked for our needs, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. We appreciated the convenience of a washer and dryer and the wifi was reliable and fast. The views of the mountains are stunning and we loved watching deer and rabbits grazing peacefully in the yard. We highly recommend Yellow Door for your next adventure! You will not be disappointed!

Great quiet stay for Arches/Canyonlands

Great house, lots of privacy, with wonderful views of the La Sal mountains, about twenty degrees cooler than Moab. Great little well-stocked market in the village to save you from driving back into town. Very clean house and well stocked kitchen.

Great Place!

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing place! Nice view of the Le Sal mountains. We spent two days in Cayonlands and one in Arches. Stargazing would have been awesome if we had planned our stay during the new moon instead of the full moon.

Location was perfect for our stay, house is roomy and comfortable. If we recommended one thing it would be to widen the drive way entrance backing out with a trailer made it hard.

While a circular drive is currently in the works, trailer parking should not be assumed as the driveway is clearly shown in the photos.

Great base for exploring the region

This home was perfect for us, gave us room to be together and to be separate as well. Nothing better than waking up and sitting on the patio looking at a mountain. Spaced far enough from others so you don’t become self conscious about storytelling and laughing outside. Communication was easy and owners had a good interest in our wellbeing. The increase of elevation from say Moab was 20 degrees cooler, we had a couple of days in the 90’s traveling south so coming back was a gift of cooler temps. I would definitely stay there again

Property was super clean, kitchen had most everything you would need for home cooking (including a robust spice rack), views were awesome, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. House had plenty of space for four adults. The only caution to prospective occupants with trailers would be that the entry driveway is tight. We had two big trucks towing trailers and our jeeps. Thank goodness the guys were great at backing up. However, once in the driveway there was plenty of room for offloading and parking.
