  • I'll be Back

"Comfort and convenience is what we found at "Hideout Ft. Abajo." While many people miss an opportunity because they demand a 5 star resort for their vacations and getaways, we've learned to look for beauty in different locations. VRBO saved us from what would have been another boring weekend at home. You can stay in the "trendy" tourist town of Moab, UT with everyone else or you can drive a little further to Monticello, UT and "get away" from the noise. Located 1 1/2 hours from Mesa Verde, Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, this little cabin in Southeast Utah is the perfect "launching pad" for day trips in all directions. The view off the front deck is fantastic, looking out over two fairways of the local golf course toward the snow capped mountains was awesome. (The golf course wasn't open in March so that's why I titled this review "I'll be Back.") The king size bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. I wished we didn't have to go downstairs to watch TV but then again, that's not a priority when traveling away from home. Our reservation was completed on-line and the frequent email contacts with the responsive staff at Canyonlands Guest Ranch was reassuring for a successful and uneventful stay. Thank you Kaeden and Jerry!"
