A great little property for a couple. It ’s a great location with easy walks to restaurants, shops, and bars. We have stayed at this property multiple times and keep coming back for the convenience.
Perfect location if you are going to the Paramount Theater. Easy parking and you can walk to sooooo many places. The only thing we were missing was clean coffee cups and drinking glasses (for brushing our teeth or sampling our whiskey).

Thank you so much—we love hearing that you enjoyed the location and easy access to the Paramount and downtown!
So sorry for the frustration with the coffee cups. They are provided (usually on the top shelf above the Keurig coffee maker), but that tells us we need to make them easier to find—so thank you for pointing that out!
We’d love to host you again next time you’re in town 😊
This is a great place to stay! The location is perfect for walking to explore the cute shops and restaurants on state street as well as the live music on the weekends. The room was cozy and cutely decorated. We will be booking again when in the area!
We had a great stay last night! The property was very clean and our communication with Bethany was outstanding! She was extremely responsive when we had to reach out. Rental is within walking distance to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
The room was as it appeared in the listing, but overall housekeeping and amenities were lacking. It needed a thorough vacuuming and dusting, the bath towels were worn out, old and inadequate; I've bought better quality towels at Goodwill, the pillows were either hard and flat or soft and lumpy and the bed was made up incorrectly. The check-in process did not happen as advertised. I didn't receive a separate email or text with the door code and check-in/out info prior to my arrival date. I finally found the door code buried in a 'contact the host' option.

Thank you for your feedback. We were surprised by some of these concerns, as we communicated with you prior to arrival and made an effort to accommodate your individual preferences—including purchasing and having your specifically requested tea waiting for you rather than the coffee we normally provide.
We also provide guests with my personal cell number and encourage them to call or text before, during, or after their stay. Unfortunately, none of these concerns were brought to our attention during your stay, or we would have happily addressed them.
Regarding check-in, I went back and verified that your access codes and check-in information WERE sent through VRBO prior to arrival. We’re sorry if they were difficult to locate within the platform.
We intentionally offer different comfort options: our newer pillows include both firm and soft choices, and thicker bath towels are available in the bathroom drawer for those who prefer more fluff!
As for dust, one of the most loved features of Bank Street Quarters is our beautiful original exposed brick. Unfortunately, 100 year-old brick has a personality of its own and naturally creates some brick dust. As much as we love it, we haven't convinced the brick to stop being brick! We thoroughly clean between guests, but a completely dust-free exposed-brick space is nearly impossible.
We take housekeeping seriously and appreciate the feedback. We only wish we’d known during your stay so we could have made things right!

A perfect space for respite from busy days with old friends. Just what we needed.
The owner was a great communicator and the check in process was very easy. The inside of the property was well maintained and fit my needs perfectly for a one-night stay while driving from NY to LA. The only reason I didn’t leave 5 stars was because the location left me feeling slightly unsafe. This is nothing the owner has control over, but just something for single women to keep in mind if traveling alone. I did not have any issues, but it just didn’t feel as safe as other places

Hey there! We’re high school sweethearts from Bristol, now raising four wildly different, totally awesome kids in the middle of life’s beautiful chaos. We’re big fans of good food, deep belly laughs, and soaking up every moment with family and friends.
We love everything about Bristol TN/VA — it’s the kind of place where you get all the music, history, charm, shops, bars, and energy of a bigger city, but with the cozy, personal feel of a small town. It’s full of character, and we think you’ll feel right at home.
Our home is rooted in love, gratitude, and the kind of faith that quietly shapes how we live and care for others. We hope your time here leaves you inspired, refreshed, and maybe even a little more in love with this special place.
Enjoy your stay — and welcome to Bristol!
Why they chose this property
One of the things we love most about Downtown Bristol is that nearly all the shops, restaurants, and venues are locally owned and operated. When you spend money downtown, you’re directly supporting the small businesses that give this place its charm, character, and vibrant energy. It’s what keeps the live music playing, the doors open, and Bristol a truly special place to shop, eat, drink, explore, and stay.
What makes this property unique
What truly sets this property apart is its unbeatable location: just off iconic State Street, tucked half a block down the historic and charming Bank Street alley. This hidden gem offers the perfect balance of vibrant downtown access with added privacy and peace.
Inside, you’ll find the ideal mix of historical character and modern luxury. The space is quaint & full of personality—designed to be both comfortable and convenient. Whether you're planning a weekend esc or traveling, The Mint at Bank Street Quarters is your perfect small base in Bristol.
