Quaint, clean, comfortable, fully equipped year round lake cottage. Beautiful views. Across the street from Paddock Lake and public fishing pier. Boat launch, parks and swimming beach nearby.

Main bedroom has a newer king size bed. Second bedroom has a twin size day bed with a second twin trundle bed underneath. Front room has a queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps up to 6 people. Bathroom with walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen. Central a/c. Two flat screen TVs, cable, DVD, Wi fi and internet. Close to shopping, restaurants, bike trails, parks and many lakes. Great for fishing, boating and swimming.

FREE use of kayaks (life jackets required and provided - use at your own risk).

Close to Lake Geneva, Wilmot, Alpine Valley, White River State bike trail and Kenosha outlet stores.

Great place to relax with family and friends. Lake Geneva area for those on a budget.

Perfection by the lake

Charming cottage with all of the amenities needed! The location is perfect. A beautiful view combined with the cozy cabin equals perfection. We look forward to coming back again!

Pleasant small cottage- Good area & neighbors

Good, other than, the one bathroom had a bad door that wouldn't shut and the fan in there did not work properly. We don't want to hear & smell everyone pooping!

Very nice & happy.

We were very happy with our experience we like everything about the place and town also close to lake Geneva. Only thing I would say is it doesn’t sleep 6 people like it said we were 4 and it wasn’t perfect. I would update pictures and put the beds that are on the picture’s because separate beds are important especially when you think they’re is. But overall we were happy with everything else. Thank you!!

Thank you very much for your feedback. You are correct, I need to update some of the pictures. The bed in the second bedroom is a twin and there is another twin bed underneath. It is a trundle bed that pulls out and pops up to be the same height. The couch in the front room turns into a queen size bed that two people can sleep on. I will leave directions in the cottage so it is more clear. Thanks again for pointing these things out. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay!

You get what you pay for

Nice little cute house right across from lake, beautiful views. One concern is the kitchen was very filthy . Did not enjoy cooking there. Oven was not cleaned at all fridge was filthy. Make sure you bring plenty of water for cooking and essentials. My kids refused to take showers as the water smelled disgusting

Connie, Thank you for your feedback. As I state in the description, the house has well water. So, there is a slight odor but it is safe to drink and shower with it. This is in a rural community and we don't have access to city water. As far as the cleanliness, all surfaces are wiped down and disinfected before renters arrive. It is an old cottage, so it's not going to look perfect. There are some stains on the stainless steel sink that do not come out. I agree that the oven needs to be cleaned, but I wouldn't call it filthy. This is the first negative review I have gotten since I have been renting it out. I hope potential renters can see past the negativity and take a look at the previous reviews.

Great place to relax!

We enjoyed our stay at Paddock Lake. The cottage is stocked with everything you would need. There are extra blankets and pillows, towels and a washer and dryer if you need to freshen clothing up. There is a smart TV for evening wind down if you enjoy that or a few puzzles, board games and books. Yes it has well water but we are familiar with well water and it was not unpleasant compared to some we have experienced in the past. The back yard was fenced in which was nice for our kids to run up and down the hill. We enjoyed the nearby swimming beach, fishing spots and parks. We spent some time near Milwaukee which was about 40 minutes north and had to stop at MARS Cheese on the way back! We ventured to Bears Den Zoo and Petting Farm which was a quaint, no frills, family ran zoo. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax in the South Wisconsin Area for a reasonable price, check this place out!

Very relaxing with great view.

Worked great for our group of 4. So well stocked - I brought a lot that was not necessary. Great view of lake from front porch - it was very relaxing to watch boats and just chill. Suggestion for the outside to be de-weeded and power washed. Looked a tad run down from the outside. Soffit area by front door has a wasp nest somewhere - might want to check that out. They didn't bother us - but could get out of control size wise as time goes on. Sent an em for where to get a fishing license and heard 2 days later (after I had arrived and purchased) - no big deal - but we spent a lot of time looking and would have preferred to not spend so much time asking around. Realize we could have done on line - but you have to give your ss#- and we prefer not to do that. Considering re-renting for nxt year - just not sure of a time frame.

Thank you for your review! Yes, the house can use a good power wash. We get those wasps every year. Might be time to call an exterminator. Thank you for leaving the information on a fishing license. This will be very helpful for future renters. I'm glad you found the place relaxing.

PADDOCK LAKE

The property was very nice and the cabin very comfy. Our only problem was the tv were not able to get live broadcasts and basic cable channels.

Peaceful

We had a great time last weekend attending shows at Alpine and relaxing at this cabin. Very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay again! Two things that would have made our stay better...a cutting board to prepare meals, and bar soap for the shower. Small details and it wasn't a big deal at all to not have these things!

Fabulous Cottage!

Breathtaking view with all the comforts of home. Cozy rooms and comfortable beds. You will want to chill on the front room / porch watching all the boats. Easy access just steps away for canoes and kayaks. Close to shopping and walk to restaurants. Nice back and front patios with grill. Highly recommend....I had an extended stay between home sales and loved every day there.

Great place for a girls weekend

This cottage is adorable and a great get away. It is older but is clean and has all you need. The air conditioner stopped working while we were there. The owners came to check it but weren't able to fix it. They were apologetic. Otherwise no issues at all! They even accommodated our request to stay a few extra hours. We would return.

Great Location

Very pleased with our stay. Location was great and view was nice. Bathroom is roomy, beds not the comfiest but better than a hotel. Only downfall was the neighbor doesn't like any noise after 9pm on back patio area... so we'd grill/eat out back then move to the front for our fires. Had no complaints after that. Overall it was a great place. Juliana was very easy and nice to work with.

Great Cottage, Great Price, Great Location- Why stay at a motel/hotel?!!?

Pros: Just about everything. Better than expected actually. The photos do not do this place justice. Excellent location, beautiful view of Paddock Lake, near I-50, convenient to Kenosha, Whitewater and everything in between. Grocery store right around corner, Walgreens not far from there. Adorable house, AC, lovely yard, tons of off-street parking, very comfortable stay, (blankets, pillows, towels, etc.) washer/dryer, basic food condiment necessities, good Wi-Fi, kayaks, fishing poles available -and more! There is a TV and movies for people who need such items. However; we never turned on the TV. We had a very minor issue with the W/D and Julianna was on it immediately. Couldn't ask for a better place to spend time with family and still be within a 1-45 minute drive to everything we might need. I'm sure I've left out more of the good things but there was so much. Thank you! Hope to stay again in 2-4 years! Cons: Having to think hard to think of anything and it is actually irrelevant to our trip BUT might be useful to folks traveling with dogs. if you are traveling with a dog who is used to a fence, there is no fenced area. There is a large grass yard in the back yard and what appeared to be a dog pull out thingy but those are illegal in our county in our state. Had we had our dogs with us it would have been a pain to constantly walk them as they are used to being off lease or in a fenced yard. Again, this is more for informational purposes not a complaint because we could not have stayed in a motel/hotel for anywhere near the same price and with the same comfort! Also, there is an off lease dog park less than a mile away or so (it seemed). Thanks again for making our weekend so special!

Perfect place to relax

We absolutely loved the cottage. We were looking for a place because a good friend from the north woods of Wisconsin wanted to show us his hometown where he grew up. If not for him we would've never found this great little hideaway. The owners were very helpful from the get go even when there was a computer glitch that had nothing whatsoever to do with them. The lake views were plentiful you could see the lake from sitting on the couch in the living room or on the sunporch in fact you had a beautiful lake view while you did your dishes. All the amenities and then some are there. We feel very fortunate to have found a place 100 miles from our home strictly by chance. We will no doubt frequent this cottage. There are so many beautiful preserves nearby wonderful places for breakfast lunch and dinner all within a mile or two or less in some cases. I can only imagine what this would be like in the summer months in fact I'm looking forward to finding out.

Clean, well kept, perfect atmosphere and location. Plenty of room and beds for our group. Included all the amenities needed for a short or long stay. Easy communication with the owner.

It was nice, we enjoyed our stay.

It is a nice, and cozy, and clean little property just across the street from the lake. It does sleep 5,6, or more, but it is crowded. If you don't mind being close, it is perfect. The double bed was comfortable. I would make sure to bring several extra towels and washrags if you have several people staying for an extended time. The only drawback for me is that the property doesn't have a washer/dryer. If you stay for longer than a day or 2 with several people you will need it. There is a laundry that isn't far that will do the laundry for $0.95 a pound. We used them, and they did a good job. My kids enjoyed the canoes on the lake, and there is a barbecue, and fire pit in the back. I wasn't disappointed with anything, so I would recommend.

Thanks for your comments! Yes, laundry is on our list of improvements. We plan to add a washer and dryer soon. I will be sure to get more towels and wash cloths. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Great Lake View

The lake house is so adorable. My family and I stayed there for a couple days and enjoyed every minute. The lake view is outstanding from the porch. We had everything we needed to have a great time. I hope it is available next time we are in town.
