Welcome to the Florence Room at Château Herbe! A state-of-the art contemporary castle with stunning grounds. The property is located minutes from I-5 and downtown Ashland.

Guest access:
You will have access to the communal chateau sunroom, library, coffee bar, and patio. Explore the vineyard, gardens, orchards, pond pergola, and classical fountain.

Esther, the welcoming and helpful host is amazing. The Florence room was superb and the castle grounds and surroundings are beautiful. I plan to return in the Fall. Again, Esther is amazing and returns all messages and/or calls in a timely fashion. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful castle only a ten minute walk to Ashland and the Bear Creek bike trail.

The area is beautiful, secure, and quiet. Everything is nicely kept with the basic amenities that meet the same needs as most hotels. It is easily located between Medford and a very short back road to Ashland. I would stay here over any hotel for the price, security and ambiance. Very lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay at the chateau. I would definitely recommend it for your next trip to Ashland. The property and grounds were beautiful. It was so peaceful and relaxing despite being only an easy 5 minute Uber/Lyft from town. It felt very safe at all hours and we had no issues with check in or out.

My partner and I had a fabulous time at the Chateau during our time in Ashland for the OSF. Downtown Ashland is only a mile away and the surrounding neighbors are precious. The host was very quick to inform us of a booking issue and resolved the matter in a professional and understanding way, which resulted with my partner and I staying in the Athens room.The property is very nice, we heard birds chirping, and enjoyed the sauna and walking the grounds. We would definitely come back and are already thinking about visiting the Oregon Shakespeare Festival next year with more friends and staying here again.
