Holiday getaway

Great property and helpful management. Kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary tools. Upstairs loft was a hit with our girls. We’d love to come back to this beautiful place!

Great Family Cabin!

We had an enjoyable stay at this cabin for 3 nights. It was a great size for our party of 6. The girls enjoyed having their own space on the second floor. The cabin was very clean and well put together. It had all the necessities and plenty of chopped wood for nightly fires. Close to everything in town! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property. It’s was stellar clean. Everything you need is in that house. It’s in a perfect location. It’s close to the saloon and the Choctaw landing which is right in the center of the town. The state park is super quick to get to. The one thing that was not good and has nothing to do with the house are the roads to get to the house. The pot holes are no joke and will tear up your car. If you arrive after dark please please be careful because the road is quite bad. It’s very dusty and gravel /rocky roads.

Perfect place

This place is amazing. We staged a surprise engagement for our son here. It is perfectly appointed with plenty of amenities. The hot tub never worked and we asked for it to get repaired but it never was. We were only here 2 nights but we would have loved to have used it.

Fun time

The overall experience was nice. Cabin was clean and everything was provided. Only need to bring food. One thing to improve is a better AC unit or 2 separate ones for upstairs and downstairs. It was very hot during the day and did not start cooling until after 9pm.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have had record heat in Broken Bow over the last few weeks. We haven't seen heat like this in decades. It is difficult for the AC unit to keep up with desired temperatures with guests in and out of doors throughout the day; however, we are actively looking into ways that we can relieve the load on the units and improve the guest experience. We appreciate the feedback!

Beautiful home and amenities, great location!

The home felt brand new and was absolutely beautiful! There are other homes nearby but still felt we had great privacy. If the weather wasn't over 100° each day we were there, we would have loved the back deck, fire pit, yard games and hot tub even more 😂. Excellent details that adult and kids alike loved. Beds were so comfortable and bathrooms designed with beautiful finishes. The upstairs was perfect for three kids and provided a great space for them to relax and play and give some downtime for the adults. Location was perfect for Hochatown activities and Beaver Bend State Park. Would love to return again in cooler weather.

Review on A dream to remember

Clean property. I did not feel grossed out with the bedding. Directions are a bit unclear. It is not the first McCurtain County National Bank in town were directions start but the second smaller bank branch on Pinion road. This was not clear. Otherwise, no problems.

We provide McCurtain County National Bank's exact street address and specifically call out that it is the Hochatown location in our turn-by-turn driving directions. I'm not sure how much clearer we could have been. Perhaps you did not follow our provided turn-by-turn directions or did not read them in full?

Enjoyed our stay

Enjoyed our stay!!!! The exterior seemed unkept. The back patio had not been swept or cleaned. The grass in the front of the lot had not been maintained. There were lots of weeds and grass growing up through the rocks in the driveway and all around the house. The interior was spotless. The only thing we would suggest is an informational booklet. We couldn’t find any directions for check-out so hopefully we did ok. We did what we’ve done previously in other cabins. I would replace the door mats and pick a different one. The ones there are tracking in small black pieces in front and back. I promise we are just making some suggestions. We have never left a negative review on a cabin and this isn't intended to be one either. We loved our stay and would stay here again. We love Hochatown and visit at least 2-3 times a year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was dirty with roaches and aunts. Blood and boogers on the covers, and crumbs left everywhere. Walked into to a puddle of water on the floor. The AC did not work. Complained to the property management company and sent pictures to them and they said they would get back to me and they never did. Lights outside also stopped working. I emailed the property management back to follow up, but did not get a response. Please save yourself the hassle and DO NOT STAY here, especially if you care about cleanliness.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. You are correct that you did reach out via email after your stay to let us know that you were unhappy. We were gathering information from our cleaning and maintenance teams to understand what exactly happened during your stay before we reached back out to you. We apologize that this process took longer than you expected leaving you to believe that you were being ignored. That was not the case. Since you did not reach out until after your stay was over, it was difficult for us to confirm the situation as you described and impossible for us to attempt to correct any of the situations for which you were unhappy. We did receive feedback from our cleaning staff that the cabin was left in one of the dirtiest conditions they had ever seen which also made it difficult to discern if the pictures you provided were of the cabin condition when you arrived or if they were photos of the condition during your stay. Regarding the AC, it was over 105 degrees every day of your stay. When you go in and out of the doors multiple times you let cool air out of the cabin and it can take hours for the ambient air to cool back down. Thus, the AC was working, it was just having a hard time keeping up with the demands you and your group were putting on it. Again, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and I apologize that our response did not meet your timeliness expectations to avoid leaving this cabin a damaging review.

Perfect Getaway

This was our first trip to Broken Bow. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and cozy. Everything we needed was there, nothing was out of place. It was clean and well put together. The cabin is not far from town and close to Beavers Bend State Park. The host was so prompt with all communication and very helpful with providing information. I definitely recommend this cabin!! We will be back soon!
