Due to an unexpected death in the family, we rented this property for its convenient location in Clermont. The management company was excellent and very accommodating.
The house was nicely furnished and well stocked in the kitchen. However, the sheets and towels were somewhat shabby. We noticed there were little to no hand towels or floor mats. The day before we left, we noticed a small note on the washer in the garage that there were clean towels in it. So we assumed that’s where all of the hand towels were left. Sadly, we also noticed that the last cycle used on the washer was a cold water setting. My question is, who washes towels in cold water (especially at a VRBO)? Seems unsanitary. We also noticed there were some floor mats spread across the golf cart in the garage left to dry, but they were so caked with lent, we couldn’t use them without rewashing them.
In the property description, it boasts the beautiful view of the golf course. Perhaps a tip or a warning should be included regarding parking in the driveway and the risk of errant golf balls. My new car got hit by a golf ball and it’s going to cost a few hundred dollars to get it repaired.
Other than those few issues, it was a nice place to stay and it basically suited our needs.
