Great Cabin nestled in the woods. We had all of the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Host was communicative and cabin was very clean and in nice condition. Would recommend.

Thank you Julie for your awesome review, we are glad that in spite of your short time with us - you were able to enjoy our little piece of paradise! We hope the next time you need to get away - you think of us!
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is newly renovated and was a nice size. We used the fire ring which is central to a group of cabins - firewood was provided by the host.

Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and were able to relax. It was our pleasure to have you and come back anytime you want a peaceful retreat again!
All dirt roads gravel roads, no where to stop for water gas and then can’t pull up to cabin with handicap mother.

We are very clear that we are on a gravel road. It is 4.3 miles to a gas station which has all the things you need and DoorDash delivers to us here plus there is a deli/convenience store 4.8 miles away with a paper in the cabin that tells you all about them. If you need handicap assistance then you should have booked our cabin that has a level entrance right to your vehicle. We could have resolved all these issues at check-in but you refused to speak with me and drove away when I tried to speak with you. We sincerely apologize for your troubles but we would have gladly helped with all these issues if we would have been given the opportunity!
The cabin is just like the pictures and description indicate. The directions to get there were very good, but the roads were awful. If the lady at the Willow Haven lodge had not been there when we checked in to give us a different way to get back to Cambridge, the whole experience would have been disastrous.

Thanks for the review of the cabin. The roads have nothing to do with us and should not count against us. We list that it is a back country road, however the road is far from awful! It is less than 5 miles on the gravel road to the paved road when going to Interstate 77 and less than 2 miles on the gravel road to the paved road when going to Interstate 70! We cannot change the road. This backroad road affords us and our guests the peace and quiet that they enjoy. We are sorry that it was difficult for you.
Thank you so much! We appreciate you staying with us and being awesome guests!

Why they chose this property
The tranquility and quiet is perfection. And then on a clear night - the star lit sky is really a must see. We knew when we seen this property for the first time that we had to buy this special piece of heaven!
What makes this property unique
We don't have alot of outdoor "extras". We are low maintenance and want our guests to just relish in the quiet enjoyment of nature and the surroundings. We have 72 acres with some trails and you can walk quietly through the woods and see wildlife abundantly. A campfire at night, starry skies and a nice place to rest - that's what we have to offer.
