The Henry Cunningham 119 property overlooks verdant and tranquil Greene Square just off of State Street and Houston. This location is only a little south of Broughton Lane and Broughton Street, which are popular places to explore and shop in downtown Savannah. This is one of our mid-size Savannah vacation rentals and is about 1,200 square feet with two bedrooms. Upon entering the house, you'll find a nice roomy living area with a decorative fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen has an open floor plan with lots of counter space and a dining area just off of it. The table normally seats four, but an included leaf allows it to seat six if necessary. The washer and dryer are also in the kitchen area. A door off the kitchen leads to a shady garden patio perfect for eating outside or just sitting and relaxing. The master bedroom on the second floor offers a king bed, nightstands and lamps and a reading chair. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and a nightstand with a lamp. There's also a bathroom on the second floor with a shower tub.
Finding entertainment near your vacation homes Savannah will probably be the easiest part of your trip. Just walking out your door will put you into the heart of downtown. There's a square or park around nearly every corner, with the closest ones to this property being Greene Square, Columbia Square and Washington Square. If you head slightly west to Columbia Square, you'll also find the Davenport House Museum, which is a preserved 19th century house furnished with historically accurate decor. The huge Colonial Park Cemetery is only a short distance south of this area, and if you head north you'll find another large park in Emmet Park, but also the famous River Street. Aside from Forsyth Park, River Street is a can't-miss place to visit while in Savannah. You'll find countless restaurants from seafood, to Southern to pizza, plus tons of shopping, galleries and incomparable views of the river and ships coming in.
