Wonderful property and host! The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our dogs. It had a nice, big fenced-in yard that was accessible from both the main floor deck and a basement mudroom with laundry (in case of a rainy day). Having an attached garage we could park in made things so much easier for loading and unloading. The house was clean, cozy, updated, and conveniently close to everything we were doing while visiting Raleigh. Would definitely stay again!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you, your group, and your dogs had such a comfortable and convenient stay. It’s great to know the fenced yard, mudroom, and garage made everything easier for you, and that the home’s cleanliness and updates helped you feel right at home.
We loved hosting you and would be delighted to welcome you back the next time you’re in Raleigh!
Good kitchen, nice washer/dryer, and we were able to park our Honda CRV in the garage (handy when it was raining while we were packing to leave!). There was house construction across the street, but it was never noisy or too crowded. Very quiet at night.Very handy location for Raleigh, both for driving around or having DoorDash bring something to you. We brought our indoor-only, elder cat and she settled in nicely. Overall, an excellent stay!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, the convenient washer and dryer, and especially the ease of parking in the garage, always a plus on a rainy departure day. It’s great to know the construction across the street wasn’t disruptive and that the neighborhood felt quiet and well-situated for getting around Raleigh or ordering in.
We truly appreciate you staying with us and are so happy to hear it was an excellent experience overall. You’re welcome back anytime!
Overall good! Great communication with the owner. The location for us worked well for visiting family. Comfy beds & furniture. Very nice decor & great shower! We had our dog with us so the fenced in backyard was ideal. FYI-the neighbor in the back has a rooster which for us was not an issue in the mornings since we were not there to lounge & sleep in the 3 days we were there.
We were in town for my Mom's funeral. I stayed at my Mom's house, but my wife, daughter, stepson, and dog stayed at your house. My wife absolutely loved it, the fancy showers, ample space, and most of all the entertainment area with the big couch and TV, gave everyone plenty of room to relax and reflect. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Raleigh to visit other family. One of my Mom's lifelong friends is actually 5 houses down from yours. Great neighborhood. Only downside for some of my wife's older friends/family was the steep driveway, but having grown up in Raleigh I understand that's just the way it is!

Thank you so much for sharing this thoughtful review, and please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. We’re grateful that your family found comfort and space to relax during such a difficult time, and it means a lot to know the home provided a peaceful place for everyone to gather and reflect.
We’re glad your wife enjoyed the amenities and that the neighborhood felt familiar and welcoming, what a special connection to have a family friend just a few houses away. Thank you as well for mentioning the driveway; while it’s common in the area, we understand it can be a challenge for some guests, and we appreciate you pointing it out.
It was truly an honor to host your family, and we’d be glad to welcome you back whenever you return to Raleigh. Sending you and your family warm thoughts.
We visited the area to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter and to assist her with a move. Brandyapple Retreat was perfect! We had 3-4 adults in the home and there was plenty of room to spend time together as well as to have our own private space. My husband and I both had to do some work remotely while there. My husband used the downstairs office space and I used the kitchen table, worked great for what we needed. We loved the gas fire pit to roast marshmellows and make s'mores. The deck was spacious and the fenced yard was great for pets. The neighborhood is quiet. The home is nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. Having a washer & dryer was great as we were there for a week. The home was just renovated and all furnishings and appliances are new. I highly recommended Brandyapple Retreat.
