Why Arthur chose Payette Lake
After a long search, we finally found a place that was private and personal yet put us in the heart of McCall.

Great location and host!
This place was just what we needed. Arthur was great and very accommodating. Location was perfect and very close to everything.
Great place close to downtown
This was our second time staying here and as before there were ample supplies (we also bring our own) and the owners are great to work with. Our son loves the loft play area and all the deep snow in the yard!
The cabin is on a quiet street and the plows are great at keeping up with the McCall snow! There is plenty of room for parking with a snowmobile trailer and another vehicle if needed.
My only complaint is that the cleaners need to do more work cleaning the floors. The main areas were ok but the edges are getting grubby. And the comforters on the beds are too big to wash in the little washer and they needed washed. The sheets were new and great so if you bring your own blanket it's fine! We would stay here again and want to see it in the summer!
Neat little spot!
This is a great little get away. A 5 minute walk from downtown. Comfy and cozy. The kitchen has most of what you need. The washer and dryer work great. The bed was really comfortable. The cabin is kind of in a state of renovation..so it’s sort of...rustic I guess. If your looking for something with granite counters and high end furniture then it’s probably not the place for you. If you’re looking for a place you can just kick back, relax, enjoy a fire and catch up on a good book, this is the place for you. The furniture isn’t new, but it’s comfortable. The stairs aren’t finished, but they get you to the loft. There is a great tv in the bedroom, but for some reason it’s not hooked up to cable like the living room is. You get the picture...a couple of other things...Be ready to chop wood if you want a fire. Expect to do a little shoveling to get to the wood pile. If you don’t mind those kinds of things you can really enjoy yourself here like we did.
Had a wonderful time here. It was definitely a home away from home. Very cozy to come home to after a long day playing in the snow. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving. We had everything we needed. Only complaint is it could have been cleaner, lots of cobwebs and floor wasn't very clean. However the location was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back!!
This place is amazing. Nice and private, comfortable, and feels just like home
