Like the cabin and the owner and I am a repeat visitor, but not so much Vrbo, as I found your pricing deceptive in nature while signing up. The cabin has everything you need, is quiet, and well maintained. Maybe it will be for sale one day.
We had a great time it was myself,my wife and our 7 yr old son! We all had a great time our son really loved the little visits with the chickens and ducks! We also loved sitting outside on the back deck it was very peaceful We will definitely be back to visit again
Peaceful and quiet cabin to relax and sit outside and listen to frog pond, watch deer and chickens stroll by, and this time we spotted a few bears. 2nd stay and we will be back again.
I very much enjoyed my stay. Jon was very nice. Promised Land State Park was right down the road so I was able to get out and walk the trails and enjoy nature.

We had a very relaxing time. The cabin/house was very comfortable, newly renovated and clean. Great
The neighborhood isn’t very well kept but it was quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the visits from the chickens and ducks!!
Great place to stay so close to Promised Land state park. Comfortably cool with A/C, lots of trees, everything needed. Fast internet and TV, but mostly spent time exploring the area - just down the road from kayaking, biking, and literally out the door for hiking. Owner was very responsive and kind with requests. Would stay again.
Checking in was so easy. Jon the owner was very helpful with questions. The cabin was clean and spacious. We loved listening to the frogs at night when we were at the campfire. It's very close to swimming and boat rentals. I can't wait to be able to stay again
Quiet cozy spot that the Mrs and I really enjoyed. Close to several hiking trails and close enough to find a couple places to eat, but still secluded enough for some privacy. House was clean and communication was good. Also happy that there was wifi and a tv for when we were tired out from hiking. Would rent from again.
This is our 3rd time staying at this property. Always a great time. The owner, Jon, is easy to get in touch with and communication is always great. Many things to do in the area. We took our kids to the lake, on hikes, kayaking. At night we sat around the fire and made s’mores. They loved seeing all the beautiful chickens/roosters running around.
Wonderful time away to enjoy the Fall colors and the beautiful Promised Land State Park. Very convenient location near the park to spend the day hiking the trails. The cabin was cozy & clean with all of the essentials. Jon was very responsive and a great host. He alerted us right away to let us know we’d left something behind & we were able to return to the cabin to retrieve it. So thankful!
It was a cute little cabin, only two problems we had were the ants in the kitchen, we had to keep it super clean, and the shower leaking around the bottom which made a little river through the bathroom. I really liked the gas stove, very cozy for the first day that was a little chilly.
My brother in law and I have been going to the same cabin for years and we keep threatening to try somewhere else but we never do because got everything we need and it’s a short drive for hiking fishing restaurants grocery stores etc
We had family at Promised Land State Park and were only a few minute drive away at this cabin. The cabin was comfortable and had a wonderful little frog pond, fire pit and back deck. It was perfect for hosting family dinners and the wifi worked well.
loved being able to bring our dog.

About the host
Hosted by Jon Clewell
We have been visiting the Promised land Area for 25 years and fell in love with it. 15 Years ago we bought a cabin and stay there as often as we can. In 2013 we purchased the cabin next to it and decided to renovate it and offer it to guests.
