Mitchell's stay was spacious and comfy, perfect for the family getaway we had planned! We love how easy the walk to the boat dock was. Our grandparents were with us and they were able to come sit out by the water while we swam and relaxed. Absolutely peaceful place to stay and we will keep it on our list for when we visit next year!

Absolutely beautiful home

We chose this beautiful home for our yearly family vacation. It was absolutely amazing. My grandkids loved the game room, swimming just hanging out and they went fishing and caught a few fish. The house was so clean and it had everything we needed. My family thinks this place should be our yearly spot. I cant wait to go again next year. We thank you do much for everything.

This location is everything you could possibly want in a lake house. What drew us to this house was the flat gradient from the house to the lake. A lot of other homes have very steep ramps to the lake. This one was perfect. Also, the double decker dock kept the kids entertained as they jumped off the top. The amenities are great and the views were stunning. We will come back for sure! Our one criticism was that the outdoor needed power washing - there were a lot of cobwebs everywhere. It didn’t ruin it though! Amazing home.

The photos do not do the house justice. There was not a single detail left to chance. More than enough bath and beach towels for our large group. Perfectly equipped kitchen for anyone that loves coffee and cooking. The welcome book was full of everything we might need to know. Excellent communication from owner. The welcome basket was a special touch. Location, location, location! Our group spent most of the time in the water and in the dock. It was so peaceful. We could not have had a better experience. 10 stars

Heavenly Getaway

From top to bottom an incredible experience. Our 4th annual summer getaway on Smith Lake and by far our favorite. Our hosts were available from booking until after we left to answer questions and help in any way they could. The home is located in a beautiful, private, peaceful cove. The house itself is tastefully appointed with incredible furnishings, decor and sumptuous bedding. Sparkling clean without any trace of previous use, wear or tear. The screened in porch off the kitchen with attached grilling area (the grill was clean with full propane tank!) was one of our favorite spaces where we enjoyed family breakfast and dinner daily. The highlight of this property is that you simply walk out the door, across the lawn to the private two level dock. As a repeat visitor to the lake finding a home that doesn't require you to walk down a huge flight of stairs or rocky path to the dock is a unicorn... a rare find. Book this home without a second thought and enjoy Lake Life at its best!

Exceptional Lake Rental

We found this rental to be the best we have ever rented (though we have never rented on a lake before). The house is very well appointed and exceptionally stocked with about anything needed or wanted. The owner is very responsive and went out of his way to accommodate us. The house worked great for our family of grandparents with their two adult children and spouses and 6 grandchildren 4-9 years old. The kids could eat indoors or outdoors (always a good option for the sake of crumbs). The kitchen was spacious and very functional with good counter space and a storage pantry. The position of the house on the lake was good in part b/c it is out of the path of heavy boat traffic which made swimming around the dock safe for the kids. We were able to put the boat we rented in one of the slips of the dock which was nice. All in all, it was our family's favorite vacation....made possible in this rental. Oh, and the kids would say the fishing right off the dock was fun! We look forward to returning if the schedule works out!
