Cozy Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is located 1 mile from the entrance to Pisgah Forest and it's just a 15 minute drive to DuPont State Recreational Forest (emphasis on Recreation!). With over 500 miles of trails in the immediate area, there is something for everyone. Countless opportunities exist for waterfall exploration, mountain biking, hiking, canyoneering, scenic drives, fly fishing, paddling (whitewater and flatwater), and tubing. The crystal clear waters lend themselves to splashing around in secret swimming holes and natural waterslides. There's even a guide service for snorkeling!

To support all of the adventure, the surrounding area is filled with welcoming businesses. Within a five mile radius you will find numerous dining and brewery opportunities that offer outdoor seating. There are multiple outdoor shops as well as places to buy groceries or anything else you may need during your visit. A 15 minute drive will bring you to the heart of Brevard. Brevard has a quaint little downtown where you can wander to check out quirky little shops, and local artists' wares.

Our property is located on 3 acres. The cabin itself is perched on the edge of hill at the edge of a heavily forested treeline. The hot tub is steps away in the forested area offering tremendous privacy. From the porch you look out over a large greenspace, bounded by a stream that flows year round. You can make out the outline of the mountains in the distance.

For convenience, the cabin is on the corner of 2 secondary roads that provide quick access to the main road and all points of interest. I do want to disclose that the tradeoff for such convenience is that you can expect to hear traffic, even though you can't see it.
