The cabin was quiet and cozy and plenty of room for a small family. The only issues were the ice maker doesn't work and the on/off knob was stuck to turn on the gas grill.It took the hot tub a few hours but it was nice once it heated up . Overall it was very peaceful and we enjoyed our stay.

This rental was just like stepping into a home! It had everything you needed. It was incredibly clean. Towels and linens were provided plenty of extra blankets as well. The kitchen was stocked! Hot tub was very clean. Everything was as described. Google Maps took us straight to the property without hesitation! We will absolutely be back. The host is very accommodating, and responsive!

This cabin had everything we needed and wanted for a long weekend getaway. Pros: Easy checkin. Lots of room. Cute and cozy decor. Well stocked kitchen that had everything I needed to make hearty breakfasts and a couple dinners. Clean hot tub! Grill in good condition with gas and ample grill utensils in kitchen. Beautiful bedroom with comfy bed and good storage. Extra hangers a bonus. Bathroom was clean and stocked with enough towels. Owner’s communication immediate regarding the heat system. Love the combination lock in lieu of fiddling with keys. Proximity to attractions, shopping, and trails was good. Wishes: Internet would cut out at times, but we were in the mountains and weren’t there to watch TV anyways. I wish there had been, or that I had packed, plastic cups cause I didn’t like taking the good glasses outside to sit. This cabin was perfect for the two of us. I would definitely return, as it checked all my amenities boxes. I could tell owners love their home away from home, and I thank them for sharing it with us.

Sharon and I were both born and raised in this area. We have either lived in this cabin or next door for the past 35 years. We've raised 3 kids, with two still in college. We own two businesses in the area, plus this cabin.

Why they chose this property

Relaxation is the key to any good vacation. This place has plenty of that!

What makes this property unique

Seclusion. On any given day you will have 5-10 deer walk through your front yard. The Brevard area which is 15 minutes away is home of the white squirrels and abundant waterfalls. . We have a family of white squirrels on the mountain. Be on the lookout while you are here. Wild turkey abound all over the mountain. All of this and you still can be to the grocery store or airport in less than 10 minutes...
