"Generations Cove" - Welcome to your perfect lakefront getaway! Conveniently located in Cullman, only 4 miles from I-65, also Birmingham-Shuttlesworth and Huntsville International Airports are both less than an hour away. There is easy access to groceries, dining and local amenities in Cullman. Whether you're planning a week-long vacation or a festive holiday gathering, this charming lake house offers a peaceful sanctuary where unforgettable memories are just waiting to be made. With its idyllic setting and proximity to everything you need, this home is the perfect place to enjoy spending time with family and loved ones. From fun-filled water activities to enjoying a spectacular sunset and roasting marshmallows under a starlit sky - there are memories waiting to be made!

Ping pong table and foosball game for indoor entertainment. One television in main living room and one downstairs. 

Seven bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, this house sleeps 18 in beds. Bathrooms are located as follows: Full bathroom on main level (master bath); 1/2 bath on main level, Full on second floor, Full downstairs.

The kitchen seats 6 at kitchen table, 2 at the bar, 4 at high-top table, 8 at dining room table with additional 2 chairs.

Bedroom 2: Queen size bed - located on second floor 

Bedroom 3: Three twin beds - located on second floor

Year round water.  2 boat slips available for guest's use. Swim pier on the dock. No power on the dock. Lily pad float on dock.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.

NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties.  Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved.  Violation will result in eviction.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mostly positive. lovely home. The negatives would be: No 's a lake home! Have some life jackets available too. And/or a kayak. I did recommend it to another since my stay. Great place

Adequate but Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth stay at Lewis Smith Lake so we had other experiences to base this review on. The kitchen was not well stocked nor conducive to cooking for 12 people. The furniture was worn and not comfortable. There was no seating on the dock and absolutely nothing to utilize as a guest other than a small lily pad. For the price and expectations from other past visits, we were extremely disappointed.

This was our second stay at smith lake! We stayed on the early end last year.And this year, on the cullman end. We had several issues starting on day one when we arrived. The A/C wasn't cooling on 1st floor. The thermostat was set to 80 and it was 80 in there! We immediately turned it to 75 to try to start cooling it down, and contacted the host who called a service company that would be there the next morning. They came the next day and fixed the issue, low on freon.The lights on the boat dock didn't work. We could not go down there because it was so dark. Contacted the host who in turn Contacted the owners because we had kids wanting to fish down there and we wanted to relax down there at night. Owner stated the lights had not worked in years! The nice neighbors told us that the last people who were there had lights down there. After much searching the breaker was turn off in a closet in the house. Problem solvedWe had 2 beds with dirty linens. And no extras to change so we were washing bedding at midnight!The mold in the basement living room was terrible. We didn't let our kids sleep down there but they did get to play the game tables with the doors open.We had to replace the main deck light bulbs to have lights to grill.Neither of the tvs worked, we had to buy batteries for the remotes. We were glad we were close to a dollar general.The host was made aware of these issues. They assured us these things were going to be taken care of by the owners.
