This property was truly idyllic! Located in old Shandon/Ross area, it was a cozy and comfortable stay. The farmhouse was freshly decorated and was pleasantly clean upon our arrival. The property was comfortable for our family of 4 and two dogs. Conveniently located to downtown and surrounding areas and attractions. The host, Cynthia, was personable and responded quick to every question I had. She certainly was a pleasure. I would definitely stay here again and again!

We really enjoyed our stay, communication was great and check in was easy. The home was comfortable and clean; neighborhood was nice and quiet. Took a walk to the antique store at the end of the street. We have family in town so I’m sure we’ll be back again and have already recommended to others.

We were in town for a basketball tournament. The location was an easy 15 min drive from spooky nook. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Having a washer and dryer was a great benefit. The local coffee shop is great! Will be staying again when we are back in July.

We had a very nice stay here. The host was very responsive when we had an issue with the door lock when we first arrived, and was sorted out quickly. The home was clean and comfortable for our stay. I enjoyed that the area was peaceful. My daughter enjoyed watching the fireflies in the yard. Flubs ice cream was a hit amongst my family. The carport was nice at the back of the property, however we could not use it due to the size of our vehicles and difficulty accessing it. I will search out this property/host if/when we return to the area.

Yes, the host was welcoming, reached out before check in we were all set, gave us check-in instructions and left some snacks for us when we arrived. The house was clean and updated. We stayed here when visiting our son at Miami University, which was about 23 minutes away.

Weekend Turnaround

We had a very brief but comfortable stay at this home. There were a total of five of us, and we were able to bring our dogs. The property manager was very communicative, thoughtful and welcoming. I recommend this cozy country home if you are visiting the area.

We thought we would be able to handle one bathroom between five of us but ended up using gas station bathroom for emergency needs. The futon upstairs was not comfortable for an adult. The fifth member moved to a motel after one night.

Your review really hurts my business. What you paid for is what you got, it’s not like we lied…there is one bathroom listed (and you decided to book a place with one bathroom), and there is a picture of the sofa bed, what were you expecting? It’s really rude of you. Please do not do this to other hosts, if what you see in the listing is what you get then THAT does NOT deserve a 3 star. Pay more and stay in a hotel or a place with multiple bathrooms
