Joslyn was a very attentive host who always responded quickly. The home is beautiful and exactly as described. We used all of the homes amenities, cooked many meals, kayaked, paddle boarded, fished, crabbed, and had a nice relaxing family getaway. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful location.

This home is absolutely wonderful! The listing is very accurate and the owners are so kind and helpful. We had a couple of small issues and the owners responded right away and helped us very promptly. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are well appointed. The pool and pickleball court were a lot of fun, especially for our kids. We took out the provided kayaks and paddled around for hours. I would highly recommend this home and we would love to come back!

As soon as we walked into Joslyn's property, we knew we were going to love it. We immediately felt the home was welcoming and just had a wonderful good vibe. Every amenity you could think of was there. One could tell that a lot of thought went into the design of the rooms and the accomodations. From the dishware, towels, linens, etc. everything was top notch. It's difficult to feel comfortable in someone else's home or to get a good night's sleep, but we did immediately. The house was clean and that's my number one priority. We stayed in October, right after a nor'ester so the mosquitoes were pretty thick. We didn't stay outside much, but we still had beautiful views from the kitchen and the primary bedroom. Thank you Joslyn for a wonderful week.

Relaxing oasis.

Peaceful, relaxing place with wonderful waterfront views. House is spacious and well-stocked, with a large fenced yard. We enjoyed catching fish and blue crabs right from the dock and kayaking on the river. Highly recommend.

Amazing property. Charming older house but completely modernized. Super pet-friendly with fenced in backyard. Our host was very helpful and very responsive. The front porches face the water and also include spectacular sunsets. The house is surrounded by trees or water. Very private. Two thumbs up.

Great place to stay for peace and quiet. This house has a lot of character. Spotless and much attention to the details. We enjoyed the patio and swim spa. The fenced yard was nice for our dog, and is nicely landscaped. The view is beautiful and the river is right out front. Easy access to launch a kayak.

We stayed for a week with our 3 children and dogs. It was so nice and relaxing! It was an added bonus to have the fenced in yard for our dogs. Joslyn was a wonderful host and I would highly recommend this clean and beautiful home. We did plenty of fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and enjoyed evenings soaking in the swim-spa. It was just close enough to many beaches and we visited during pony week which was great. We also visited Cape Charles which was beautiful as well. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home, we will cherish the memories and will be looking to book again in the future!

We loved staying at the Harbor Master. It’s was so relaxing hanging in the hammocks looking over the water and loved the swimming hot tub! The spaces were all very comfortable and the yard was beautiful. Our hosts were informative about spraying being done, but we were all out anyway. The home is tucked away and feels private, but was close to everything we wanted.
