Daniel was super responsive leading up to check-in and during our stay. We arrived in town early and he let us drop off our bags while the apartment was being cleaned. The location was perfect- close to metro stations so super easy to get into Manhattan and to the airport. The neighborhood was quiet with delicious bagels and bodegas. It also had wonderful Asian food restaurants nearby too! Comfortable and clean bed and linens. The place was great size for a weekend getaway! Only thing missing was a wine bottle opener

Nice location

Close to subways, food, pubs and bodegas. Felt safe and comfortable and the place was clean. Nice shower facilities. Some confusion checking in but the contact was available and helpful when needed. Would stay there again

When we arrived, the access code they gave us didn't work. Finally, due to some problem we couldn't figure out, they changed our apartment to one we hadn't booked or even seen, but which saved us from climbing three flights of stairs without an elevator. It wasn't the apartment we had reserved, and the cleaning was superficial. The air conditioning made a terrible noise, and the bed was wedged between two walls, making it uncomfortable, although the mattress was fine. We didn't like the neighborhood at all; it was dirty and there were troublemakers hanging around. Nothing happened to us, but it wasn't a pleasant situation. I wouldn't go back to that neighborhood.

It was a decent stay for what we wanted to do. Very welcoming for my wife and I. They did not mention there was not an elevator and it’s on the 4th floor. So be prepared for that. Breaker went out in the middle of the night during the winter and no breaker box in the room. So they were nice enough to come and fix that for us around 1 am.

Works, but not quite right

When I showed up to the VRBO the neighborhood was a little rough but its workable enough for a single guy. Space I stayed in did not look like the photos, but it had a bed, kitchenette, TV, desk and table. AC was included but tucked away in the closet and you had to hook it up yourself.

Daniel is a great host even if the place wasn’t the one we booked for. It was by the way an apartment in the same building, clean and comfortable enough for us.
