Absolutely loved staying here! I liked that we were able to park our vehicle on the inside of the gate by the tiny house. A big bonus was the sound machine we forgot ours and they had one on the nightstand! We will definitely come back!
Our stay was amazing! It was a secluded location that was still close to lots of restaurants and places to shop and have fun. The host was super welcoming and was a greag communicator. The place was clean, had lots of towels, and the hot tub was well taken care for. Would stay again.
We had a lovely little stay! Everything was great, cozy, and comfortable. Everything was clean and even included somw holiday decor! We did not use the hot tub, but it was a very cute set up, private, and luxurious robes were also provided. Definitely a great place to stay!
Host was very good to work with and responded immediately. Great space for a couple to escape the hustle bustle and spend time together. Great location to fun spots in town. We didn't attempt the hot tub as it was a very cold out , but the outdoor area is super cute and well planned.
Kacy was very responsive to questions. The little house was adorable. The decor was fun and warm. Very retro feel. I loved the records on the table. Definitely looking forward to coming back.
What a great little tiny house for a couple nights! The aesthetic was adorable and clean, the environment comfortable, and we enjoyed a cup of coffee, a variety of vinyl music, and a cozy retreat from the cold. Thank you to our hosts. They were responsive and kind with every interaction. Would love to stay here again some day!
We had the most wonderful stay! The vibe is perfectly cozy and eclectic—truly everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We loved the thoughtful touches like the soft robes, comfy blankets, and the record player (spinning old albums was such a highlight!). The adjustable lighting and beautiful plants made the space feel romantic and lived-in. Our host was incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. We felt right at home and are already planning a return trip for the spring!
Just what we needed for the eight nights we spent in the Alton area cleaning out my grandmother’s home. It was a comfortable place to crash at night and prepare our meals. As a “home chef” I really liked using the vintage stove, it kept its heat amazingly well and got hot instantly. The record player was really vibey as well. Overall would recommend to friends and family coming into town.
This space was close to everything we wanted to do in Alton and Grafton for a small-town weekend celebrating our first wedding anniversary. We loved it!
Cute place that offers all the comforts of home! Set back from road so it was quiet. Great location for visiting family and seeing all the surrounding sites in Grafton and Godfrey! Definitely recommend!!
My wife and I absolutely loved our night's stay here!Extremely clean, loved the retro-vibe, and had a very nice location. We live in St. Louis, was a perfect getaway with experiencing Grafton, and Alton.Kacy was super nice and responded quickly. We will plan this trip again!

Why they chose this property
We are obsessed with Alton! So much so, in fact, that we just moved our family here too! We think it is such a charming and underrated part of the world. There is so much to do and we love the river view!
What makes this property unique
This beautiful historic property was built in 1910. They don’t make homes like this anymore. We are blown away by historic architecture and feel honored to own and restore one ourselves.
