Not guest ready: dirty home, broken fridge, unannounced entryWe scheduled a week here (September 19 to 26) to celebrate a birthday, and the stay fell far short of what was advertised.The house was filthy when we arrived. Please see photos attached. We cleaned the entire home ourselves and had to buy extra supplies, since the only cleaning item provided was a Swiffer dropped off after 10:00pm, when we were already asleep.The main kitchen refrigerator was not cooling, and the only alternative was a mini fridge in the entryway, which could not hold a week of groceries. We had planned to cook our own meals. We were also left without a freezer while the repair was being done.Most concerning, the management team violated VRBO's privacy and security policy by entering the home without our knowledge or permission. This is unacceptable for any guest staying at a VRBO property.We received a partial compensation, but it did not make up for a stay that was supposed to be relaxing. I would not recommend this property.

Can't wait to go back

This was the perfect place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Woodstock was a place we frequented throughout our dating years and our marriage. This home was close to town but private. It was absolutely beautiful inside and easy to get to. The owners were communicative from the moment we booked and responded promptly with any questions. It was so easy. We were able to go into town, and come back and relax at the house. It was absolutely perfect. It was as advertised as well. There were no surprises. We will definitely go back and we're looking forward to bringing our kids with us next time.
