There's a dock on the premise with a boat landing less than a quarter mile away. The house is close to snowmobiling trails and within driving distance to Granite Peak Ski Area, mountain biking and the Nine Mile Forest which offers CC skiing and biking. The Mead Wildlife area is down the road with access to thousands of acres of public land. The location will make you feel relaxed as you are right on the water with outdoor fire pits, a dock and outdoor living furniture. You will be a comfortable distance to local dinning and breweries tucked between Wausau, Mosinee, and Marshfield. This is truly a perfect vacation property that will appeal to any interests.

Cozy Place to Be Snowed In

My kids and I spent 3 days here during a snow storm and we loved it. The place was super cozy and clean and the accommodations were perfect.

Nice decor, for the price we paid the dock was not in to tie up our boat to, and to think the kids could swim at this particular spot would be very far fetched. For the price I don’t think we would stop again. The master bath sink was severely plugged the whole time which was kinda gross after a shave and tooth brushing… View is great. Suggestions for dining and entertainment were spot on. Prop manager very responsive!

Thank you for your stay and review! As always we try to make the best experience for our guests as possible. We are sorry about the sink, this was addressed and working as it should. For the dock typically we have to install when water levels are normal as it’s a floating dock. We had a very wet spring and the water levels and currents prevented us from getting it in. Again, thank you for your stay, you were great guests!

Amazing property!

We came from Alaska and Virginia to celebrate my Father in laws 80th birthday. Weather was horrible, but it was nice to be hunkered down in such a beautiful home. Cozy, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. We were there for 8 days and we were sad to leave. Thank you for hosting our stay.
