Perfect location! close to town and the slopes

  • 5 of 5

When first arriving we were given the wrong code to get the key, but I kept pushing buttons until it finally opened lol but then everything was PERFECT. Huge, gorgeous, full equipped home with amazing views of the mountains and near by ski slopes. We had 3 families and had plenty of room. Each family had their own floor with their own bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of room in the kitchen to eat together and lots of room in the living room to hang out in between skiing. The kids LOVED the backyard where we had lots of snow ball fights and the perfect hill to ride tubes and sleds down. Brand new appliances, super clean house, fireplace was a bonus! My husband and I stayed in the master on the top floor. Super comfy bed, plenty of room for suitcases, and the most amazing shower! There is no access to closet or garage space, which wasn't a huge deal since there wasn't much snowfall while we were in. The house is right on pretty busy road, but we didn't have much trouble getting in and out. One of the couples said their bed wasn't the most comfortable.. I think the bed is actually a pull out sofa, but I don't think I saw that noted in the description. In case anyone has issues with stairs, the main living area is on the second floor. If we come back to Steamboat, we would LOVE to stay with at Decker's again!:)

Very nice place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the stay at the Townhouse. Great location, well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had two families (4 adults, 4 kids) and we had plenty of room. Close to the slopes and town.

What I liked best is that the owners seem to use it often so it seems more like a home than a "turn em and burn em" rental property. We were there during the holidays and there was even a christmas tree.

Owner provided nice activities and restaurant list (by season), was helpful, and accommodating.

We would definitely return next time in steamboat!

Perfect Christmas Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time over the holidays. This was our home base so we could relax after ice skating, snowshoeing & snowmobiling. The house was big enough to eat meals together, watch a movie and get plenty of rest with our extended family. We cannot wait to rent this house again.

Spacious and Comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Spacious and comfortable. Town close with a right turn at main intersection and mountain close with a left turn at main intersection. Hill in back yard for kids big and small to sled down. Owners easily accessible via cell and email. Met all our needs.

Thanksgiving Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at this beautiful and spacious townhouse over Thanksgiving week. The location to town and to the hot springs was perfect. The bedrooms were perfect for our visiting family, and we appreciated all of the available resources for our little guys (crib, changing table, mini sleds, toddler bowls, cups, plates, ect.) The views out of the main window were fantastic- what a treat to wake up to the mountains each morning! The kitchen was the most well equipped VRBO kitchen we've seen- we had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner and more! All bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the downstairs entry area was great for getting organized for all our outdoor outings. We would HIGHLY recommend this VRBO to anyone! Thank you for your hospitality!
