About this property

Entire guesthouse in Ronald, rare waterfront view

Escape to our newly built, charming waterfront guesthouse nestled on Cle Elum Lake. Modern retreat boasts ceiling to floor windows and breathtaking lake/mountain views. Our Cascades Mountain all-season getaway features sunny summer weather and a wintery wonderland. This vacation rental is separate from the owner’s personal vacation home on the property. While the owner’s home is seldom occupied, both residences are designed for complete privacy with separate entrances, ensuring a peaceful stay for you. Kitchen, washer/dryer, electric fireplace, walk-in shower, and outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Easy access to Snoqualmie Pass, as well as shops, restaurants and a movie theatre in the quaint nearby town of Roslyn. Our unit is perfect for a romantic getaway, or for use as a hiking destination for 2-3 hikers looking for a cozy place to rest between adventures. The space is also ideal for a small family (1-2 children) who want to spend quality time together and enjoy the great outdoors. This is a small rental with cozy bedrooms and does not lend itself to a party atmosphere. The space is 635 square feet, featuring two bedrooms and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The main bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, while the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top; this room is perfect for your children! Please note that this space requires access via a staircase only. There is a small patio with two adirondack chairs. The unit boasts a sweeping view of the lake and beautiful mountains, creating a serene and picturesque setting. The living room is equipped with a Fire TV (smart TV), an electric fireplace for a warm ambiance, a small couch, and a lounge chair. It also includes a selection of board games and children’s books. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with glass panels. The kitchen is both cute and functional, equipped with an electric stove, oven, sink, microwave, fridge/freezer, and an island with four barstool chairs for dining. Amenities include a Keurig coffee machine with a few pods, a tea kettle, toaster, blender, cooking pots and pans, and a variety of kitchen essentials such as plates, cups, cutlery, cutting boards, a knife set, pizza cutter, measuring spoons, and more. Assorted teas, salt, pepper, spices, olive oil, foil, storage bags, and parchment paper are also provided. Additionally, the hideaway offers a small washing machine and dryer for your convenience. For families with young children, the amenities also include a collapsible highchair, baby gate, diaper rash cream, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hairdryer, children's books, stuffed animals, and a few toys (Lincoln Logs). The area is known for its wonderful hiking trails, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, fishing, golf, spa, and bird watching. Hex Mountain, located right across the street, offers a steep but rewarding hike with 360-degree views from the peak. On a clear day, the Hex Mountain hike allows you views of Mount Rainier, the Teanaways, the Stuart range, and many other surrounding peaks. The neighborhood is within a quiet, gated community comprised of just a handful of homes, making it perfect for a quiet getaway. This small community is home to beautiful wildlife that is often seen roaming around the area, including turkeys, deer, elk, bald eagles, raccoons, coyotes, and occasionally bears and mountain lions. We offer a complimentary can of bear spray for use while you stay at our place. Please note we do not have a BBQ out of an abundance of caution for fires. The forest gets very dry and experiences high winds.

Great Location

We had a good stay, the place had great view of the lake, was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, the only thing we could have used was some fold away chairs to put out on the deck to sit on that overlooks the lake, we did pull out two of the bar stool that do not have any backs on them and are not the most comfortable, we spent 3 nights, 2 full days there, spent one day on the lake and another driving around checking things out in the area, being older we spent the evenings hanging out in the place, the only issue we had was the furniture in the living room is very practical and easy to keep clean but was not the most comfortable for our older bodies, also just one small issue, day 2 the batteries in the TV remote quit and I had to purchase more to get it to work! Overall beautiful place, great location and view, not far from town either!!!

Thank you for staying with us, Jeff. I greatly appreciate the feedback. I have since placed two comfortable adirondack chairs on the patio. We do have extra batteries on the top shelf in the kitchen, but I will move them to a more convenient location. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Great property for a summer vacation.

Stayed here during the week with one other adult for a mini vacation. It’s a beautiful property right on the lake with amazing views. Check in was easy and the host was very prompt to answer questions and give helpful information. Cle Elum lake had a great family friendly beach on the east end and other nearby lakes, such as Kachess are within driving distance for fun summer adventures. There are hiking trails nearby. A day trip to Leavenworth was about 1 hr 15 mins away and rounded out nature with some tourist town charm. This property was well stocked with essentials and provided all we needed and more to have a great week. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of towels, fans, a/c for your comfort. The fridge and freezer are not full sized but enough for 5 days of food for two. Everything worked fine. No bbq grill was available, so cooking was by oven, stove, and microwave.
