OC by the bay

We had a great long weekend in OC staying here. the check in process was easy and the place was clean. The view of the bay was amazing and it was so nice not only having a pool but one overlooking the bay. The elevators were easy to use, never had to wait long,And the other guests were respectful and it was peaceful. The beds and sofas were comfortable and the AC worked well. they had extra fans in the closet which we used and it made it even nicer after spending the day in the heat. we did have to drive to the beach and restaurants but we planned for that. I enjoyed being away from the business of coastal highway. Also there’s a coffee shop, food store, beach store and restaurants right at the top of the street! I’d recommend and we’d come back. Thanks!

Won't stay here again. We came in to absolutely no running water. The girl we got ahold of for the no running water was nice. Someone called and has US under the sinks turning on the water ourselves. Maintenance guy did end up showing up 2 hours later and Left with the hot water not working correctly but finally after 4 hours we could take a shower. Dishes were dirty, crumbs all over the counters. Mold in tubOutlet covers are falling off the outlets and exposing the outlets Maintenance guy did not fix that. Pee stains all over sheets.You can't get into the pool without lots of troubles. Codes dont work as they give the wrong codes. I have had to call the place 5 different times within a day.The AC is incredibly loud in the bedroom, off and on all night causing us to wake up over 10 times throughout the night.The whole place kind of seems run down and not well maintained.The pool was alot smaller then shown, it is much further then they advertise from the boardwalk (a 20 minute difference), and I honestly don't think it was worth the price. Check out time is super early and check in time is pretty late. Just not overall thrilled. Pretty views though. That's the only good side of the whole thing. Pretty bummed and hoped they'd work something out with us but didn't even offer and said they were NOT compensating us for all the issues and grossness. They also will probably comment under this review saying all these excuses, but don't listen! Very sad vacation.

Great view and location

Small but perfect condo right on the water overlooking the bay. Kitchen had everything you needed and bedroom was very comfortable with a king size bed. Beautiful views and outside balcony overlooking the pool. Great spot!

Overall, the property needs work. But it’s not expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. Whoever the management company was or if they were the owners responded instantly when I sent a text and wanted to be very accommodating.

Great Stay!!!

Our trip was very amazing! We were back away from all of the noisy traffic. We had a very traffic view of the bay. We got to enjoy that view in the morning and at night. Even got to see the Ferris wheel light up at night from our balcony that was on the boardwalk. The restaurants were very delicious. My kiddos got to enjoy the pool quite a bit while we stayed there, even got to watch them from the balcony which was convenient. In overall there is nothing to complain about. The kitchen had everything that you needed, we even cooked 1 night in.

Fantastic views and sunsets!

This condo is very clean and has spectacular views. It is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay, once we were able to get the access instructions from the management co. The original woman we were in contact with insisted they sent it to us repeatedly, which we did not receive, and was basically accused of not knowing how to read email. After getting another manager on the phone, she realized the error of the rude woman, and immediately took care of getting the instructions to us. Original woman should have double checked where she was sending these instructions. We booked through VRBO, but she was sending through AirBnb and insisting we were wrong!!!! What happened to the customer is always right, or at least being pleasant to them?! All in all, would return because of the condo and views, not the management.

Beautiful condo and views!

The condo was beautiful but the kitchen was not very well stocked. There were not any baking dishes,mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons and other things but when I contacted the owner they willingly shopped for the missing items and delivered them to us.

Lovely apartment, pretty views, clean and updated.

Loved this apartment. Had an issue with the WiFi that the manager/owner righted very quickly. Would love to see a bedside table on the other side of the bed and some informational sheet with directions to the beach, parking, the best local eateries etc. would have been nice to have had. Other than those minor things, the apartment was lovely, comfortable and updated with gorgeous views of the bay. You won’t be disappointed.
