Great location and plenty of space. Plumbing issues from beginning to end led to the low rating. Owner responded quickly to our concerns and did what he could but it is not easy in a basement flat. Leaky or blocked toilets meant at least one and sometimes both toilets were out of use and the shower room toilet had a constant smell which meant we kept the door closed.

Very well situated appartement. Perfect for going out to eat at nearby restaurants or to simply spend some good time with family. Available parking nearby, customer service is A1, nothing bad to say about it. They were always available to answer rapidly at our questions. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, the only negative thing I could talk about was that we had to go out and buy batteries for the two tv remotes. Other than that little inconvenience, we would definitevely book again!

The photos provided to advertise the apartment suggested a much more spacious place that was the case. There was no indication that the apartment would be in the basement. But worst of all was the smell coming from the bathroom. We complained, and eventually someone came to deal with it. But that did not help. It was like being near a sewer.Given we had a young baby and a young child with us, we considered this a health risk. We contacted the owner to say we had to find alternative accommodation. We requested a refund. The owner replied that he would discuss this with his partner. But we never heard back from him despite leaving messages several times.I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. VRBO should really investigate this as it affects their reputation.
