We booked two nights and checked in Friday at 4pm as we were in town for an evening wedding on Saturday and specifically picked this VRBO property for the resort clubhouse amenities as we had all day to hang out at the property before the wedding. On Saturday morning we were turned away and told that ALL of the amenities at the resort clubhouse (pool, lazy river, mini-golf, etc.) were closed until 4pm due to a private function. We were also told that all owners had been informed of this several times over the past 2 months so we should have been informed of the closings when we booked. When I reached out to the property management, I was told the amenities are managed by the HOA not management and they did not know about the closure. I asked that the owner of the home be contacted and to get in touch with me, however I did not hear back from anyone. The home itself was very nice, however the lack of communication and paying for something that was advertised in my booking and not delivered was extremely disappointing.
