There were cockroaches, the fork knob valve was missing, the lounge chair is broken and the fabric is deteriorating, lack of everything to cook, we were afraid to sit on the chairs on the balcony because they are deteriorated. We had call the manager all the time because there was always something broken. I hated. Way to expensive for this place.

Hello Chantal, We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences suffered during your stay. Pest control was sent to the condo upon discovery of the problem and we have been sending the tech more frequently now to prevent this from happening in the future. A new knob valve has been installed in the shower. Balcony chairs have been replaced for new ones. The condo has plenty of cookware and utensils. Although these problems shouldn't have happened in the first place we could have amicably found a solution. Guest satisfaction is the number one priority for us! Gorgeous location, some attention needed

The view from this penthouse level unit was stunning. Lots of space, furniture was comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Property manager responded promptly to assist us with correct tv settings and addressing an issue with the tub drain emitting an odor. Unfortunately the odor continued. This should be addressed as it was very unpleasant. We did see two bugs in the kitchen. There were bait units around but unfortunately this made us concerned and we kept all food in the refrigerator because of it. We also did not want the unit treated with chemicals while we were there but hope this will be addressed for future guests. The building has a well equipped gym, a well stocked convenience store, coffee shop and pool, all of which we greatly enjoyed. Easy walk to the beach across the street. We loved the location and the overall property!

Super Bowl Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are 3 buildings when you turn in, you have to go through the gate and to the 1st one. We checked in late and left the car with the valet for $15. Got to our room, np, and we’re impressed with the initial look. It’s clean but sparsely decorated. The bed was advertised as a King but it wasn’t. We were very unhappy with this. The next day we contacted AYP, asked for a different room and they ultimately offered us $100 for not having a King as advertised. The shower head was ok but the handle in the tub popped off as soon as I touched it. The balcony had a nice view, basic patio furniture. Didn’t get a chance to jump in the pool but it looked nice, games on the deck and easy access to parking ( once you figure it out). There’s a small mini mart in the lobby which is convenient.

Jim, Thank you for sharing your experience. We are truly sorry for the inaccuracy of the bed size. Unfortunately due to the Super Bowl we did not have any other condos to offer you. The bed size has been corrected to Queen. The shower handle was replaced with a new one. We hope to have the opportunity to assist you in the future.

3 Week stay in Appartment PH6 Ocean Reserve

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Appartment was on the highets floor overlooking the pool direction of the city.Apparment was not as clean as one would expect, we are from Europe.We stayed 3 weeks and the disadvantage is that the towels bed sheets etc, are for one week so if you stay longer you have to do your own laundry.Although the appartment is on the highest floor the noise of the road next to it, bridge to Sunny island, is constant availble and it is not pleasant to sit on the balkony. The apartment is reasonable old which shows for example in that the shower temperature could not be controlled too hot, dangerous for small childeren or to cold. By the pool the noise of the road can not be heard. The apparment is situated close by restaurants , beach, supermarket and drugstore,as well as Ventura Mall. Parking your car was positive own spot, gated and included in the price. In case of an issue the front desk can not help you one needs to contact the owner or the owners representative. In our case the owners representative was not very responsive.

Nice stay

It’s a nice property. The condo could use some upgrades. The shower caddy was rusted. The couch in the bedroom had tears. The floor was extremely dirty when we checked in so we had to continuously wipe our feet. there was a nice view from the balcony the kitchen was big and spacious. The only big issue was that our front door wouldn’t lock.

Great vacation!

This was our second time getting this unit.. was back here on New Years.. both vacations where awesome.. the room is spacious and the view is amazing and your on the highest level... the parking lot for the unit is perfect for the car inside the garage not outside under the sun.. the walk to the beach is good not too far.. the only little hiccup is the furniture is getting wore out..

Beautiful apartment and beautiful neighborhood

The apartment it’s really beautiful and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen utilities. The view is incredible and you get a beautiful sunset. Beautiful and quite pool, great for families. 3min walking from the beach. Great neighborhood! 10min by car of aventura mall. Unfortunately the A/C was not working probably on the master bedroom but Andrea went above and beyond to help us, she provided a portable A/C and fans which solves the problem. Having her on our arrival made a big difference. I’d definitely stay there again! Thank for everything!

Reviewer Comments: The booking experience was fine, with the staff being very accessible even on weekends! However the apartment front door lock came off every time you tried to open from the outside, told AYP rep in person who promised it would be fixed the next day but it was never fixed ; garage remote controls never worked (even after AYP rep came over to apartment and gave us a different remote control); AC did not work properly-bedroom way too hot; was told apartment had beach chairs, but they were all rusted, broken and unusable.

Some problems

The unit we stayed in (PH6) had a few problems. There was no booklet to tell us rules, regulations, etc. I called the rental company to ask about this but they didn't respond. We were staying for a month, so naturally we would be cooking in quite a bit. The kitchen really needed more supplies: no dishcloths or kitchen towels, no large bowls for salads, etc. , no baking sheets or any pans to use in the oven, except for a pizza pan, and handle missing on the microwave. We had to buy a rubber mat for the bathtub because it was super slippery and the smoke detector didn't work. No cleaning supplies. The vacuum cleaner didn't have a handle, so was unusable. Towel racks in bathroom were missing. However, the pool area and beach were awesome. This unit really could use some attention.

Great apartment in a Condo

A great apartment spacious, well maintained, was equipped with all necessities as well as a complete beach kit. Just 5 mins walk from a beautiful beach. Getting through to the property manager during the weekend was a challenge.

Wonderful respite time

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great location with the amenities that we desire. The pool experience was great especially for my 6 y/o daughter. We were within a 5 minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean. Our apt. was open and airy as advertised. Ww highly recommend this property.

Reviewer Comments: Mi novia y yo teníamos expectativas muy altas de tu apartamento, en las fotos se veía fenomenal y realmente queríamos pasar 7 noches agradables sintiéndonos en casa luego de tener 10 meses sin vernos. Al momento de llegar al edificio por fuera nos pareció muy lindo y estábamos emocionados, aunque los señores del valet parking nisiquiera recibieron mi auto y lo primero que me dijeron era que los parqueaderos designados para nosotros eran muy lejos y que nos salía mejor coger valet parking durante la estadía lo cual es parte del negocio de ellos. Una vez entramos a recepción nos pidieron llenar unos documentos pero la persona que nos atendió no fue capaz de darnos indicaciones de cómo llegar al apartamento, después de estar un poco confundidos por el tema que no es 1706 sino PH-06. Las zonas comunes del edificio son antiguas comparadas con lo que se ve el edificio por fuera, las puertas de los apartamentos se ven viejas y no me sentía en el lugar top que había escogido por fotos. Una vez entramos al apartamento con la clave que los brindaste que funcionó a la perfección, lo primero que nos topamos fue un muy mal olor a guardado que al cabo de pocos minutos teníamos ambos alergia del polvo. El apartamento en fotos se ve muy más nuevo intacto más sin embargo la decoración es igual a lo mostrado solo que ya no se ve NUEVO como muestran las fotos. Las sillas del balcón una estaba rota y las otras nos daban miedo sentarnos pensando que se podían romper igual. Los baños por mucho que tuviera sign de que estaban desinfectados y limpios, no se veían así, nuestra primera acción fue salir a comprar las cosas para limpiar los baños, la ducha y el cuarto. Las sábanas del cuarto olían a guardado y queríamos lavarlas esa misma noche pero no pudimos porque no teníamos tarjeta del laundry que esperamos estuviera dentro del apartamento y no en zonas comunes. Esa primera noche pensamos que el aire enfriaba el cuarto pero después de 3 horas acostados sin sábanas ambos estábamos sudando
