The air conditioner didn't work when we arrived. She claimed it worked when her maintenance man left the house. It was extremely hot when we arrived. We were there to cook for a baby shower, but the stove didn't work. There was no gas. It wasn't even on. We had to find somewhere else to cook. Now they are accusing me of going in their basement, and removing a doorbell.

Unfortunately the guests didn’t include that they violated the house rules of no gatherings. A baby shower is a gathering. Unfortunately our home is not set up to host parties and is not equipped for the sole function of being a kitchen. We were in touch with the guests that a repairman would be sent to the home to remedy the stove issue., which we did. As it relates to the stove we were informed the stove was fine. We never heard from the guests during rheir stay that there was any issue with the stove not working, after the repairman was gone. If there was no gas on in the home the guests would not have been able to shower with hot water. We confirmed from the guests that they had hot water during their stay. If an issue remained after the repairman left we would have expected an immediate call from this guest explaining the issue was not resolved. Further we did not accuse this guest of anything we simply asked if they had any knowledge as to how or why two jlocked doors had been found open. There was no accusatory intent in our question about the safety of our home.
